He disapproves of secular teaching and , he does not approve of religion, he cares not what religion we profess, he truly serves a one God ,I'm in his court, all children of God

I am self-employed in the construction and engineering industries and the secular religion of trans, gay, feminism, anti-religious dogma is coming for the whole industry, it's already here. If you are a woman now you get the job based on your gender and if you are a man you don't get the job because of your gender unless you identify as a trans woman.

I have never heard this advice before. I honestly thought I was the only one who felt like this. I have passed that age of needing this, but I now know why I felt this way. The difference is I have been given approval by people I truly respected. That would last for a few days only then I would slip back into "I am nothing." Sometimes, the old parental voices are louder than anything else. I know I am a good person. I have done amazing things for many others. I earned an M.D., residency, and practiced for many years. I know I have saved lives and helped many people. I don't know why I still feel this way.

I'm a woman and I've felt like nothing many of times. Maybe I have a degree of whatever causes gender dysphoria. My ego is pretty fragile. I need to accomplish, to feel like I matter and I'm building something. When I'm criticized, I often feel pretty worthless.
I also can feel like that. I was wondering about it, because I more identified with my father than my mother. They didn't have a wonderful relationship either, so there's been this internal back and forth of male and female qualities, learning to recognize what I am rejecting because of negative childhood experience, and reintegrating it back into my adult self.
Dear Salem, unfortunately my sister feels the same way. I feel rejoiced when someone criticizes me. Because I take it as HaShem blessed me with extra eyes and a brain to correct my shortcomings or areas of improvement. But this is only if the criticism is made genuinely to help me become a better person. For example, if someone says to me “you know when you speak you get excited and you raise your voice which sort of make it unpleasant to listen to you” . Wow what a wonderful critique. Now I can speak more consciously measuring the volume of my voice. But if someone says to me ‘hey you sound dumb when you speak’, ok now we have a problem because this statement was made with an intention to put me down . So I take no offense but I cut my ties with that individual. Frankly only a handful of people ever criticize me with an intention to hurt me and I was able defend myself. The key is, in my opinion, to understand what the intention is. A Torah loving individual should never approach you with intentions to belittle you, demean you, to make you feel worthless. Please be strong, Gd created you as a special individual who needed to be on earth. You are loved by me just because Gd loves you 🌷🌹🌸🌼

There are an awful lot of broken men out there who feel they are ''zero'', who's fathers did not give them respect, and unfortunately as adults, they lash out at women and anyone they perceive to be ''lower'' than them...Its a terrible, painful disease for both the man and the woman, bc no matter how hard a woman tries to raise a man's self-respect and confidence, if it comes from her- ie a 'low''creature- her admiration is worthless to him. There are gray areas between the polarities of man and woman. C.G. Jung pointed this out clearly in his analysis of anima and animus. Many people fall on the spectrum somewhere between the ends. I've been faced, over my 66 1/2 years of life, with many "manly challenges." These were not necessarily of physical strength, but of resolve. I didn't seek them, they just were part of life. On the other hand I've been in nurturing positions typically ascribed to the feminine that I've handled with equal, or perhaps better, ability than my manly assignes. I think that some of our greatest stress is had in trying to be an ideal of extremes rather than accepting that there are two sides to us that manifest in varying degrees. Our best self is exhibited when we do our best to serve others, whether through nurture, provision, or protection. If I've been good, kind and of service I've fulfilled my purpose and can hold up my head regardless of gender roles.
True. I think it's gender independent. Just masculine and feminine energy of cosmos running through a human body irrespective of gender of body. These energies manifest in people. If we replace the word man by masculine energy and woman by feminine energy, irrespective of one's sex, then Rabbi's video mostly makes more sense for me otherwise it's just not fully relevant. There could be many feminine men and masculine women who might relate to this video but in the opposite way.

My mother did a wonderful job raising me, my grandfather in his later years poured into me during his dementia state. When we say image of God, the limited and perceived differential between men is included. More so the power of the interaction of changing / supporting and making a difference to others from a transient " position" of power over others. The empowered soul purifies itself by exercising that power conscientiously through adhering to the 10 commandments despite earthly enticements. From " image" of God the " genuine" seeker merges his spirit progressively into the righteous wholesome of Godliness. The body and the environment moulds every soul in time unto the sublime love called God. Waste not a life. God bless

The attack by women is also psychological. This was never the case with my late wife who was an angel but it was the technique employed against me by my mother. And what is it when the men commit DV without such a statement?! Men/people tend to be violent due to other issues...often anger management issues. Nor is it the woman's fault if the man commits violence. But it is a factually true statement to say emasculating a man is to strike deeply at a man's self worth and violence sometimes factually results. Call a black man that horrible word beginning with an "n" and you might get popped. As a young man decades ago in Brooklyn, I saw a Nazi making a speech on the street saying horrible things about Jews. A young Jew pummeled him severely rendering him into a bloody mass. By the same token there are numerous cases where a jilted wife or girlfriend cast aside by a new love interest commits domestic violence or even murder. I once tried a case where the man stabbed his wife to death for an affair with another man. But there are many cases of the woman so-doing. These factual realities represent the dark side of human behavior and to comment upon them or recognize them is not to condone them or blame the victim. Earth is founded on nothing, beauty is vain(nothing), thats its power. Creation is something from nothing, formation is something from something. Dear Rabbi, as a woman born in the middle of the 20st century I feel the same way and asking myself the same questions and I am not the only one I am sure. I think that people should have learned by know to not judge each other. Sadly, that is not the case.
I would like to know what happens to a boy who has never identified with his father.
That’s really an over generalization. Women can feel zero depending on how they were raised. This is a nature versus nurture question. Plenty of women feel that they have amounted to nothing in their lives.
Exactly. Both men and women have this issue now.
Agreed. I absolutely felt like a zero during my child and teen years. Less than zero actually as I was convinced the world was worse because I was in it. I know other females who felt this way too.

The 'wisdom' is from the Torah, the Rebbe, of blessed and righteous memory, from the Tanya, etc. If you listen to earlier videos from the Rabbi you'll hear the wisdom when hecwas younger as well.

Thank you Rabbi. I’m a 43yr old man, I witnessed my Father be murdered when I was 6yrs old, which means I was cheated out of truly knowing who and what I am. My mother did a wonderful job raising me, my grandfather in his later years poured into me during his dementia state. I’m my community I would be what they would call a successful Father of my 4, 2 of them are male. Today’s message has truly blessed my tortured soul, I gave me so much more insight on the Man’s Mind. Dear Rabbi, I’m not a man, but I hear much wisdom on what it means to be a man and that’s very helpful. I can’t speak for all women, but I feel this straight line you speak of for women has become a very crooked path, and what does it mean for a woman who is unmarried or has no children? I understand you are talking about men, but I think women do feel failure intensely - perhaps in a different way and for different reasons. I immensely enjoy your talks particularly on intimacy and have gained so much. Thank you Rabbi and much respect to you

When we say image of God, the limited and perceived differential between men is included. More so the power of the interaction of changing / supporting and making a difference to others from a transient " position" of power over others. The empowered soul purifies itself by exercising that power conscientiously through adhering to the 10 commandments despite earthly enticements. From " image" of God the " genuine" seeker merges his spirit progressively into the righteous wholesome of Godliness. The body and the environment moulds every soul in time unto the sublime love called God. Waste not a life. God bless
As a criminal defense attorney I can tell you from my experience that when women emasculate men, men sometimes break or crack and commit domestic violence.

The attack by women is also psychological. This was never the case with my late wife who was an angel but it was the technique employed against me by my mother.
It made the commandment to "honor thy father and mother" very difficult. I probably failed that test. But perhaps G-d will consider the mitigating factors.
And what is it when the men commit DV without such a statement?! Men/people tend to be violent due to other issues...often anger management issues. Don't ever point the blame at others because you want to explode on someone else, or think that hurting someone is acceptable, because (fill in the blank). Sorry, but you still have much to learn.
People with DV issues will kick/beat the dog, best the children, beat, beat, beat, hurt, hurt, hurt.

@@CW-rm1rl Domestic Violence is a nuanced subject. I think we can all agree that violence is NOT the answer. Nor does anybody "deserve" violence committed upon them. Nor is it the woman's fault if the man commits violence.
But it is a factually true statement to say emasculating a man is to strike deeply at a man's self worth and violence sometimes factually results.
Call a black man that horrible word beginning with an "n" and you might get popped.
As a young man decades ago in Brooklyn, I saw a Nazi making a speech on the street saying horrible things about Jews. A young Jew pummeled him severely rendering him into a bloody mass.
By the same token there are numerous cases where a jilted wife or girlfriend cast aside by a new love interest commits domestic violence or even murder.
I once tried a case where the man stabbed his wife to death for an affair with another man. But there are many cases of the woman so-doing.
These factual realities represent the dark side of human behavior and to comment upon them or recognize them is not to condone them or blame the victim.

The only similar i find in the gensis says "and indeed it was very good" but mentions nothing about " to be done". Can you help me?
You are referring to the Catholic bible "and indeed it was very good" I think Rabbi refers to the Torah.
@@sme7385 yes. But the old testament is based on the Torah. In the genesis it should more or less be the same words.

slavery sounds offensive but ultimately that is what a christian they give up their freedom to become a slave to God. they mold rewire their personality to the personality of God in the bible
Brilliant video and insights - However, I would not say the question of personal significance can be dismissed that easily - not because the goal is "to BE significant", but because it is a serious question, so it needs an answer. I know it would go beyond the scope of the video, so... just if anyone was wondering, I do believe there is an answer / a musing in relation to this question, which points to the very core of existence. In simplified terms: "How can I be significant, when there is no "personal I" in the first place"? :-) But that question can only make sense to someone who has gone through a change that cannot be put into words :-) Thank you Rabbi Friedman for a great video.

A man has a soul and that is not nothing so if he lives more in touch with his spirit man then he will find the peace that goes beyond understanding because that is never nothing ! But I agree men are usually judged on how they provide or what they amount to in life $ financially unfortunately and that is so sad., That is why men need a fulfilling spirit life so by being fed with Gods love and inspiration they are fulfilled.
