    Thanks for the video. I thought it might be necessary or at least easier to loosen the alternator to get to the one 10mm bolt. I have the parts I need, will do the repair as soon as it stops raining.

    Come do mine now 😂. What a dumb design. The egr is the last thing my commander needs for inspection. Ive been dreading it. I may dremmel the alt lol. Thanks for the video!

      No problem! Alternator wasn’t that bad to move, you might create more work for yourself that way.

    Thank you for the video. I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 5.7 (Overland Trim). I was thinking about blocking the EGR completely with a professional parts of course. I heard the engine will run hotter a little bit but it will gain a slight performance and mileage. What do you think? I can always get a tune after blocking it of course. I do have a diablosport tuner which I can add or remove fuel too.

    That's not a 5.7 2005. Missing the entire air box. Is this an aftermarket cold air

      This is an 05 5.7, and yes it is an aftermarket cold air intake

      Like...how TF are you gonna tell him what what year and engine size he has??? THE MAN KNOWS WHAT VEHICLE HE'S WORKING ON...JEEEZ!!!
