I study 2 hours a day, don't go to class, and cram 12 hours a day a week before exams and it works... But I end up burned out lmao. So yeah, these advices are pretty awesome to bring in a little change for myself 'cuz it's about time hehe
I usually use punctuation (I.e. dashes, periods, numbers, letters) for categorization and highlighter colors to represent similar concepts throughout different levels of categorization. For example, if I'm taking notes on diseases of anemia, I categorize with dashes and letters the different subdivisions of anemia and use a specific highlighter color to highlight the treatment of the disease, and this would be done for all of the categories

I actually studied for my MCAT during Ramadan. Staying focused is mostly mental; make sure you eat well while you can and make sure your study environment is set up well and just stay mentally strong. Most of the motivation and drive is in your head.
What you did to maintain your GPA in undergrad. How often did you study? Were the material and workload overwhelming at times? and Do you believe that someone who wasn’t good at science prior to college would be able to learn and do well in undergrad science courses.
Kind of but not really. At my med school we get powerpoints that the professors make as well as "handouts" that are just pages of material that cover everything. Nowadays I just read the handouts and take notes on what I think is important.

kwwonn my first interview was with UVA, and they actually gave me my acceptance the day after the interview. At that point I started getting more interview offers but decided I wanted to go to UVA because I loved it when I went there on my interview day, so I ignored all the out of state interviews. But I did go to an interview at EVMS just for fun lol.
R Ree I actually didn’t apply to any Ivy League schools, mostly in state schools and a few close by in DC. Staying close to home was one of my biggest deciding factors and there aren’t many ivy schools close by
