In today's video, we went to the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland, and visited the famous Fairy Pools on an extraordinarily beautiful - but changeable day. The Fairy Pools is one of the UK's most famous wild swimming spots and you can see why - it's stunning! We were joined by our friends Juliana and David, who were visiting from NYC. Such a beautiful place. That rainbow looked like it ended just a short distance from where you were standing. Incredible! The Fairy Pools are stunning with all of the surrounding land and mountains. Thank you for sharing this beautiful location with us.
Wool is the only cloth as far as I know that will retain your body heat when it's wet. Woodsmen swear by it and so did the highlanders.
Oh my, that was the first time I ever saw the start or the ending of a rainbow🌈, you know what they say Shaun,lol, really exciting. Some beautiful land the Isle of Sky, and it does remind one of famous literature from long ago. Glad everyone (I think) was able to stay on their feet where those incredible falls were, these are memories not to be forgotten. So Thank you Shaun, Teka, Juiliana and David, for inviting us along. On a sunny day the fairy pools are turquoise and magical.
visited Isle of Skye June 2018. It was 40MPH rain and flooding rain. I thought I had gotten to the fairy pools, but based on this video I was at the bridge at the bottom of the hill. On that trip I had forgotten my rain coat. I got soaking wet and was so cold. Now I can watch your video and pretend to be there!
Glad I waited to watch this on my TV as suggested. The double rainbow was awesome.

Anyway, I am glad you all were able to have a fun roadtrip in your own backyard. Vicariously living through this adventure on the Isle!
My partner went to Scotland back in April of 2015, and went to the fairy pools as well. He even filmed footage and swam benethe a underwater arch in his wet suit.
The S.D. card cracked after he came home and pulled it out of the Go Pro, and we were never able retrieve the footage.
Just like ancient volcanic goodness!
Spent a week back in 2017 it’s so beautiful I want to return and this time bring knee high rain boots 😊

Thanks for taking us along--I got to go there, but my friend wanted to come along, and then bring the young man from Hong Kong she was hosting. So unfortunately, from Aberdeen and back in one day, it was mostly trains and buses, no time for a wander...I need to return!

There are 17000 waterfalls in the United States and many of them are blue including the Niagara Falls one of the biggest waterfalls in the entire world that is blue and it is spectacular!
Come to Missouri, USA. You may experience every season in one day! Would love to visit Scotland one day….

We stayed two nights on Skye. Old Stein Inn. We visited The Fairy Glen but not the pools.

what gear do u you use for filming?I got an old GH4 and got mediocre lenses for it!getting a Sirui 24mm for 392 pound next month!since I upgraded the pc for 4k video editing!
