Nicely done! I’ve been running my hood straps from RSKI for 3 years now, working good as new still👍🏻

Enjoying your content, only recommendation would be to consider blue loctite. Red loctite usually requires some form of heat (propane or butane torch) to release. The blue works great and you don't have to worry about heat damage when it's time to remove the bolt.
PS: I'm looking at RN SJ's and will use your hood straps.

Thank you! The red loctite we use is #268 and it comes in a stick like chapstick. It’s definitely not at strong as typical red loctite, and have never needed heat to remove anything. With that being said, we typically just follow the Yamaha service manual as closely as possible. P.S. our hood straps are the best. :)

Haha that’s because sometimes you ride with the hood latch open! 😆

Super helpful video. For the sake of drilling as few holes as possible, could you also connect the front of the straps to the hood hook bolts?

You probably could do this, but routing the straps over the top of the hood might not be as clean. I like to keep them separate, but that would probably work fine too.

@@RSKI your videos are super valuable to us new folks joining the sport. Would you be willing to do a video on cooling lines and restrictors?
