These dirty chicken tutorials are probably your best yet. I come back everyday to see if there’s a new one for me to get tips from. Keep it up! Super helpful!🤙🏼🤙🏼
I was looking for something like this for a while now, and right now I need it more than ever because I was just working on a drop like that but I'm stuck
No Zen, you're wrong... It WAS amazing! I just want to hear the track again! Synths like this and SERUM intimidate me, but you make it look so easy! Great content! If you want to use my badly self-mastered track for 'what-not-to-do' video, feel free... It's called 'FRENZY' by Beprelim.
Hi zen, could you make more videos like (Hardwell Start To Finish), but make a Series for each of the Packs that you have made in the past. For example like "Brooks Start To Finish" using Bounce Revolution and so on?
Hi zen, can you maybe make a video on how to make these kind of sounds with for example operator and how to process them with the build in ableton plugins? Awesome vid btw!!
thanks a lot . I know you have been busy with sound designing and all that stuff . Please do a series from scratch like what you did with hardwell , on how to make a song like Kyle Watson and Chunda Munki :) please . ooh yeah and 1 tip for this type of genres is that they don't play around with a lot of notes they rather just play 1 note for like 4 beats and use the pitch envelope to get that muddy dark swing sound :)
I've been wating so fucking long for a Chunda Munki or Kyle Watson sort of tutorial! Wow this is so cool man! Thought because they're from South Africa nobody would recognise their shit and make a tutorial! thank God Kyle Watson made it pretty big with This ain't Bristol :) thanks for the video!
Hey Zen, I'm using the presets for sylenth1 but can't get my samples to sound exactly like yours. For example - the reverb never stops, goes on forever. Also, in general doesn't sound as bassy. What can I do? thanks man
YO ZEN! So I bought the DirtyChicken preset sound bank but it downloaded as audio files... How can I insert them into Sylenth to use them as presets? HELP!
Ur great, but i always asked myself where you producers and or djs got that knowledge from? Just trial and error or is there more to it like schools courses or stuff
i know it’s late but if you’re still curious: it’s a sub genre of house music pretty exclusive to south africa. Look at records released by “this ain’t bristol” and “box of cats” to find some tracks. Good starting points would be chunda munki, mancodex, rrotik and some of my music haha. But yeah Kyle has a unique sound that you won’t really hear anywhere else, he himself said he doesn’t know exactly what genre it is!
Nearly every South African techno producer tries to copy Kyle Watson's style. So much that it's kind of painful to the ears now. Most tracks are nearly identical. Basically like how so many Brazilian Bass producers are copying Alok's style.
Almost every South African House/Techno music producer these days copies his style. Literally all you hear on the radio these days are those hihats and basslines. 🙈
I was looking for something like this for a while now, and right now I need it more than ever because I was just working on a drop like that but I'm stuck

Joel Harris Fair enough, was not hating, just wasn't what I expected by the title
Yeah slight clickbait as well but still explains it well for novice producers.
