- HOW TO CUSTOMIZE your iPhone with IOS 15 including WIDGETS, CUSTOMIZING APP ICONS, & REMOVING that SHORTCUTS BANNER! I’m late on this aesthetic trend, but I thought it was would be nice to show y’all how to do it with IOS 15, it took a lot of research on how to remove the notification banners you get but good thing I explain it :,)

Hey y’all! I also struggle with the notifications still popping up. It didn’t do it for a while! But now it does until I go back and turn it off again. I’m sorry if this doesn’t work for you but I will continue to search to see how I can fix it! Thank you guys for all the support. I love y’all!😇💜
I found a way! Instead of typing “Assistive Touch”, look for Number with a # symbol. Type the number 42, press the play button, turn off ask before running, and it should work :)

I’m wondering the same. I’m using custom app icons but cannot figure out how to get notification badge to show. I’m new to this so not sure if it’s even possible ? kind of sucks having custom app icons but not being able to know if I have a notification

I don’t think there’s any way to do that. As they aren’t actual apps, the notifications won’t show up
Is there anyway I can see my normal notifs, my notifs for my apps dont show anymore so idk what ppl have notified md on

I’m having so many problems with the shortcut thing. Whenever I’m adding my apps it seems to work for a while. But when I’m close to being done and I’m going back to make sure my apps are working. They all are opening up the wrong apps that I assigned. And when I cleared out the app now it’s saying that I don’t have a shortcut added to it?????
I’ve already spent two hours working on my phone and so far the only thing that has worked is the wallpaper. I need help

Make sure your not adding them to one “app” I accidentally put four apps under RUclips so when I opened for exp. “Instagram” it would open youtube you would have to click the “+” for ever single app (idk if that’s your issue)

Hi so I just wanna say im doing this on iOS 16 and this on short cuts is not coming up for me I can add and rename but there are no 3 dots or lines at the top to click on making it hard
Okay so instead of the 3 bars it’ll have ‘Choose from Menu’ at the top. Click on that and then you’ll see the option ‘Add to Home Screen.’ Click on that. It’ll then go to the screen where she got to choose the picture of her icon. Then just follow her steps from there. I hope this helps!!!

This was a wonderful tutorial! I was able to finally do my phone the way I wanted after wanting to for so long! I had tried many times but just gave up after like 10-15 mins but this tutorial really helped me understand and I did it easily! It took me about 3 hrs😭 but it was so worth it! hahah
Did you actually make 2 Widgetsmith icons? It looks like you did a medium that changes and the smaller one with the quote, right?
I had 2 small ones already up I did a medium one just to show how to do it, both of my small ones change, one is just pictures and the other one changes quotes that I got from Google!
I am having the hardest time with this! I can’t figure out Widgetsmith nor can I get the 2 automations, in fact It either says that my automation failed or my 2 automations are running! I feel like it’s laughing at me!

This video was very helpful I appreciate the detailed information. The only problem I seem to be coming across is when I open a app.. even after the original app has been stored in my App Library/hidden from my screen. Once opened it appears on the bottom of my screen (the dock) is there a way for me to fix that ?
