Hey! :) you can edit your home screen using settings under wallpaper. It gives you the option to customize either your lockscreen or your homescreen. Hope that helps
You can also edit the home screen and change the photo or turn blur on/off and things like that from within the lock screen. Just tap the lock screen you want to edit and press customize, then without doing anything press the ok button in the top right corner, then you will see the button that says set as background pair, below this button there is a blue text that says customize homescreen, click this and you can edit the homescreen :)
I think one of the most useful features for me was to turn on the battery percentage. You go to settings>battery>battery percentage. Also you can mark your text messages as unread so you can come back to them you just swipe right on the text feed.
I am ao glad you do these types of videos. When I got my MacBook, your setup video helped so much for learning my new computer. It's so nice when a new iOS is ready because your videos are so easy to understand and your camera presence is always wonderful!
btw you can now turn haptic on for your keyboard. also in a newer ios16 update in the future, they’re going to let you customize your home screen without having to customizing your lock screen first. also text dictation now adds punctuation in as you’re talking. there’s more filters in messages if you have your message app set up for that. and you can only do depth pics if you don’t have any widgets so the ai can notice it.

It’s through WidgetSmith. You go to the widget itself and go to customize theme. Scroll To the bottom and hit Custom. Customize theme, background, advanced color chooser and then type in the pigment of your home screen. If you’re using Julia’s, type in C28a73. Hope this helps!

Very happy customizing my home screen/phone. Sometimes I rather not. Nothing wrong with leaving your phone alone and just having it. A phone a piece of technology and a 🍕 of importance. Talk, text, etc. Everything and even a speaker.

Hey I couldn't find your other comment, but when you go to calendar with upcoming events on widget smith, select theme, then go to customize, theme, then go to background, and scroll all the way down to the last background option. It should say custom, then theres a box that says advance color chooser HEX, RGB colors. Click that and put in the hex color #c28a73. Hope that helps :)
If your planning on getting the iPhone 14 pro max, it really isn’t worth it from your iPhone 13 pro max, you should wait for the 15 pro max which might get a redesign (not sure) but rumors are saying it’ll get usb-c and a periscope lense (allows you to zoom more)

So far I’ve had the worst time trying to set my stuff up I have widgetsmith downloaded and everything set up but when I try and change the top text to my widgetsmith text widgetsmith doesn’t even come up as an option it’s driving me absolutely insane lol

yes, the deleting/editing text only works for imessage and the other person has to have the new ios 16 update as well!!
