Watching you guys is nothing short of a delight. I know almost zero about panel beating but the meticulousness with which you go about it is stunning. Even my wife is enamoured with your work and she knows even less about cars than I do! Very impressive, can’t wait for the next episode 👍
You can’t beat a good eye for detail. You boys are definitely in the top position in restoration of classic cars. I know where I’ll head when I need to restore a body on a classic. 👊👍💪👌
Well done boys, another great episode. You getting any caps 🧢 made up with your logo and maybe Torana on it.? Maybe to celebrate when you finish the Torana, a black cap with orange logos. Regards Heath
Keep up the great work guys! q) When is the merch coming out? would love to buy some and spread the word! It's so nice to see the orange around the rear windows and front doors also, not to mention some Primer! Good Darts!
Another great video. Hope Darryl has moved on from the c-pillar. I get the impression he was quite unhappy with all the filler the previous repairer (if you can call them that) left for him 😂
G'day Guys Just a quick question In episode 19 when Mick stitched in the rear quarter He had what looks like a piece of copper against the weld Was that a heat sink/guide or both Thanks for the Top Viewing 👍👍
Don't Mirka have a small DA sander with a 3'' backing pad ? that would be ideal for these areas you are sanding, Keep up the great work !!! (This Torana has more fiberglass than a surf board) Cheers 👍
I wonder what happened to all the old stamping molds for these and other classic Aussie cars. Would have to be a nice little earner making new panels for them.
Why didn’t you rime the door with the Carboline Primer like the nose cone and the passenger side front guard? Looking forward to seeing how pops fixes that door.
You Guys are doing a Magnificent Job, i don't see an Issue with getting the panels 95% correct, then skimming with high quality body filler...1, or 2 mm thick, then high quality finish glazes over the top. I would like to know the cost of the final finished job.. I have cars to get body and paint done, my only problem is i'm in Adelaide.. I will have to Contact You...
Any reason you guys use sanding discs instead of stripper to get those layers off? What's the original color? Can see white and purple in the layers, even light blue.
Still cringe every time yous are sanding or grinding with the charger then no windows n stuff. Interior mite be getting renewed but wouldn't you move it or cover it up? I bag up every car in my workshop to keep them clean as possible. But good vid 🤙
Like the Idea of seeing Pops do the heat shrinking and getting the panel back to it's pressed form and not having to use plastic fillers!!

Great work guys 👍👍👍 and the knowledge you’re dad has is priceless that’s 100 percent old school and that something that can’t be bought 👍👍👍
I love watching the progress on this car, thanks for the update!

I’ve finally got a sense of how long, and the patience it requires to do a proper job.
Another great episode find this panel repair with no bog very interesting, learning a lot here.

They went to scrap to make way for the new models. Factories didn't have endless space.
Originally a Vauxhall before Holden decided to sell them rebadged as Holdens

Awesome work guys' just a quick question, why don't you use paint stripper as to sanding the paint off.
Exactly what I was thinking..

It’s so satisfying watching the body filler being removed and lol 10 layers of crap.
