This song is extremely important to me. My mom lost her battle with dementia and Parkinson’s about a month ago. I’m an only child. It’s very hard to be alone on this earth. Times of Grace is a time of Grace for me. Let your loved ones know how important they are. Hold your head high, embrace your love and your life .

We all deserve damnation my friend. That's why salvation comes from God only by His Grace.
I don't believe I deserve damnation for a sovereignty issue I didn't have a say or vote in it in the first place. Adam and Eve has never and will never speak on my behalf. Christians can try to convince themselves all they want that they partook on the consumption of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil....this is false.
In a ideal universe, salvation should be given pro bono with all the deceit and confusion religion has caused to mankind.

@@X-l-HAD3Z-l-X According to Adam, for the first Times Of Grace record, he started writing a buch of lyrics when he was at the hospital, but he wasn't happy about his ideas so he brought in Jesse to take over writing, however for this album, all the writing is Jesse's as far as I know.
Jesse and Adams vocals are just absolutely phenomenal such a beautiful song

I know exactly how you feel. I've listened to him since 2000 he helped me mold into the person I am and is very much a part of me. I would rather listen to this than 99.9% of what's out there.

I've noticed he absolutely takes the ToG stuff super seriously, as opposed to his relatively goofy demeanor in KSE's stuff. I think it's because ToG's music is really deep and related to the struggles that he and Jesse have had with belief.

This entire album is so good, ten years was worth the wait. This song perfectly demonstrates why I love how Jesse and Adam share the vocals in ToG. The video is very well done as well.

I cant believe I slept on this song. This is now tied with To carry the weight as my favorites. So amazing. I listened to it for a half hour on repeat. It's so amazing how much Adam D sounds like Jesse.
This song was on repeat when the album dropped. My #1 song off this. I absolutely love this song. So much emotion, gets me thinking a lot about life and what I've been through.

Absolutely love this! So much emotion comes over you listening to this. Being a musician myself I don’t have those feelings with much music I listen to these days. There are no words to truly describe it. Doesn’t do it justice!
It's not about who is deserving. Christ was deserving for us all. He delivered all of us. Each according to their own turn.
That's really the purpose of the song. Jesse is essentially calling out judgemental hypocrites. The question at the end, "Who deserves damnation? Who deserves salvation?" is essentially saying, "Nobody deserves salvation but if anyone deserves damnation, it's people who think that they are in a better place because they can preach from a pulpit and deliver worded daggers to the congregation to keep them in fear of God's wrath."

One of the best metal songs of the last 10 years...
Saw them live on their 1 tour they did. Was in a small downstairs club like setting. Was such an awesome experience. Adam and Jesse were just walking around because the downstairs (smaller venue) didn't have a backstage kind of thing. This was before Jesse had said he was coming back to KSE. Was so awesome. First time I saw War of Ages too. They opened for ToG. I think that is the only tour they have ever done. This new album is so different but I am glad. The first one was awesome, but it was like KSE 2. This one totally separated the 2 bands. Great music. The opening riff in Medusa. Damn.

Jesse sand Adam are the best duo in metal today. Their music lyrics put them far above so many. They dont even swear in their songs which makes them that much better. Keep up the great work fellas!

Time of Grace started in 2009, but remained largely inactive until 2010, until releasing the single Strength in Numbers from their debut album The Hymn of a Broken Man , released on 18 January 2011.Recomanded Strongly to all you metalheads out there:-)L and R from all the metalheads here in Norway...
