Ray, Courtney and Andre' have recorded the a versoin that can never be done any better. It is simply the hottest versoin I have ever heard. If Johnny can't dance to this song he might as well go home.

Ray is one of the nicest men its been my pleasure to meet, and probably the best on cajun accordion - coupled with young Courtney, who is a fine fiddler too.
Simply the best it can get.

I honestly thought I had seen all of the videos on RUclips of my brother. Today, I looked up Chere Bassette and I came across a video that you posted just two days ago. I am now sitting on my couch holding his fiddle and crying my eyes out… I miss him so much. I”m so grateful for people like you, Tom, for continuing to share Courtney and Ray’s music. They had such a unique bond. I love Ray so much. He was so good to my brother. It still blows my mind sometimes that they are BOTH gone.

Hi Rachel. I was glad to find two more of my recordings from 2008 with the band, I talked with Ray about the films, he thought that ”Johnny Can't dance”, would be OK to post at RUclips. It was my friend Gunnar Ståhl, who met them i Köge, Denmark, and where he asked them to come to Sweden. So they made two performances in Sweden, Stockholm, Stallet and Katalin, Uppsala. In Stockholm, Radio Sweden, SR made an radioshow with the band. I'm sorry that both Ray and Cortney is gone, we just have to keep their memories alive. Tom

Saw him play the day after he returned to Louisiana. Too bad he won't teach at Augusta Heritage again this year.
    Thanks for the posting.

You were lucky to see him play that much.
He's almost every year in Koge and now also in Stockholm.
Thanks for posting and the quality from the movie is also very good.
    Keep them coming.
