Something I forgot to add in the video: I wish that tornadoes could recycle more commonly on high risk days, because I have yet to see a high risk with more than 5 tornadoes, when it's possible to get over 10 tornadoes in a single day.
To add on to that Tiv2 should have a threshold (max) of 250mph winds which makes it pretty accurate. In Mythbusters they put them Dom1 and Tiv2 behind a 747 jumbo jet airliner and winds went up to 250mph. Dom1 went sliding 50 yards and Tiv2 didn’t move bit, the spikes were bent slightly tho
@@BaxWXYeah, no. Those were straight-line winds, not vertically rotating updrafts with mini vortices like what you'd find in a tornado. Simply put, TIV 2 most likely would not survive such high tornadic winds in real life. Even the highest values I got in some rough formulas I calculated a few weeks ago were still a ways off from that. The value that the Twisted devs gave it in game is a very good estimate I'd say, and even that could still be argued to be lower in real life.

I damn well agree with you, especially regarding the sameness of tornadoes, this has upset me since the first days of release, and I must say that these cones lack a lot of different shapes and randomness, I don’t like that in a game about tornadoes they literally take away the most beautiful and The scary thing is the tornadoes themselves. I hope for a quick rework of the structures or at least the addition of new forms. Thank you for not keeping silent about this, I’m sure the developers will definitely listen, since they respect your content very much, I’m looking forward to new crazy chases!
You make some pretty good points here, but I'll leave my two cents on your points and things of my own -Storms spawns, I agree sometimes they are iffy. I rarely chase on in the southwestern portion and I want to be on the western side more mostly. I rarely see southern storm motion days too, and it would be refreshing to see more of that. -I think things such as the constant reappearance of that cone tornado could be in part due to you playing higher end risks constantly. I think the playerbase is experiencing more highs since players can pick and choose what servers to play on as they can see the 3 day outlook, thus resulting in more frequent highs. I typically play a wide variety of risks and often run into neat sidewinders and such, but I agree there should be a lot more flair with the meshes despite how nice it is already. -Vehicles: Wait for 1.21, more vehicle variety us coming to the table. Very excited about the increased variety :). I half agree with your point on interceptors, though. I do think their thresholds are fine where they stand, but many times I don't run into tornadoes that are strong enough to lift the TIV 2. I think it again widely depends on *how* you play, such as what risks you go for, your experience, etc. -Atmosphere: I do agree, things will be improving though if you've kept up with some screenshots. (We're moving to future!) -Rerolling/bots: I've never been a fan of this. I despise constant rerolling, it's such a bad thing to get into because people get so caught up in rolling over and over and over and over to get "THE BEST" but end of getting a bust and going again for another hour. It's not a good way to play at all and pretty unhealthy. The bots make my problem with it worse by automating it. This drives players away because you get bored and burned out quickly,. If you constantly do this, getting an EF5 or an unimaginably strong tornado will not feel special. I just don't find sitting at a screen, clicking join, clicking thermos, leaving, and repeating for an hour or two straight any fun at all. You can see what the outlook is in the public server lobby list so why not just join a high from there instead of waiting 30 minutes to over an hour? I don't think the game feels dead/is dying, I just think a lot of the community is getting burned out from 1.20. I can assure you 1.21 is getting nearer and nearer. I'm sure 1.21 will draw in more players/bring players back, especially because there's optimization improvements and some QOL additions coming. 1.21 is not a crazy large update like 1.20 was, but it's going to feel so much better. It's just taking a long time because they had to look into and work on optimizations -- which the game did not have prior to 1.21. The team is hard at work making sure the game is working and fun for you all, and there's plans further ahead to make the game even better. If you guys hold out, I promise it will be rewarding in the end. Suggestions from you guys ARE heard and being critical (such as this video, thank you for making it Fusion. Stirring discussion like this is good) are incredibly useful for feedback so we can improve and make the game as best as it can be. My advice to you, the reader whomever you may be, is that if you're getting burned out, switch up your playstyle. Try new things and keep things fresh. Stop chasing high risks constantly and give some mid to low ends a shot, try out that new car you've left rotting in your garage, and maybe just do something silly or stupid that you wouldn't normally do. Make the game new and exciting, because honestly that's how I've been able to keep playing all this time without burnout, alongside my genuine love for the game and community. It's unbelievable how well switching just one thing up can do. I've tried cars I've never touched before, done no radar or no mesonet challenges, and even tried intercepting in EMS vehicles. All it takes is one silly idea and you're back having fun again.
Honestly, twisted is overall a really fun game, though I do agree with these points It can feel at bit SLOWW. For example, I have EVERY single chaser vehicle (dom 1 tiv 1 tiv 2 dom 2 dom 3 not other ones like vortex) and have been trying to get the DOW for a long time now, though I still find the game to be fun.
Exactly. I played a enhanced risk and moderate the next day; both plopped down 2 high end ef4s that hit Hazel. 200mph damage indicator, so likely would've ef5s had they hit any DIs.
I completely agree with this, I would love to see more random tornado paths. Like if the tornado shifted direction, similar to some historical supercells that took an unusually sharp curve in the opposite direction that most tornadoes go. (I don't remember the term for it rn) I also feel that there should be a short in game tutorial to walk new players through how to spawn a car, explain how probes make money, a very basic description of how to read radar and storm direction. I don't mind helping new players and I do my best to give them all the helpful info I can, but sometimes it's a bit much when there's a bunch of new players and you end up explaining the same thing multiple times. I'm not saying add a whole slideshow on how to read the hodograph, but just give the new players a run down on the bare bones basics of how to play the game.
Yea, I agree. The game got boring pretty fast after the update, plus you needed a supercomputer to run it. Though if you wanna intercept a small tornado my best bet is to ditch deployment. Even mega strong ones pass over you in seconds so you'll be tossed, but there's a high chance you'll be launched out of the way. Plus, even if you manage to intercept one deployed it's kinda lame because as I said before, it'll pass over you in seconds. It'll be over as soon as it starts. Just try getting ahead of it right up to the point where it hits you without worrying about deployment.
I relate to this video on such a high level. I can not explain how sad its made me seeing tornadoes not as violent and "cool" as they used to be with the meshes. I also agree with the tornadoes being very annoying to intercept, especially with some being the size of your car. And, along with that, the tornadoes the size of your car reach RIDICULOUS speeds. I had a similar tornado spawn when it was the size of my vehicle, but the windspeeds were well over 200. With everything said, i think your video really brings these issues to light and i enjoyed the ways you introduced them. Thank you!
In 1.19 I got extremely excited for a high or moderate risk, because I knew a strong or violent tornado had a chance of happening but know I feel like every server I join its always a high risk and its starting to get boring
I’ve seen servers with 3 days of moderate risks and yeah most of the time they are weak but sometimes you might get a strong one like for one example in my priv server I basically got a Hiram 200mph ef4 which I wasn’t able to intercept but was probably 200+ but I do see where you are coming from
Ok let's be honest, SOMEBODY had to build up the courage to actually make a video about this and just full on talk about their opinions straight forward without worrying about what the devs think and I respect that. However I do think 1.21 is going to fix a lot of these things. If you think about it, old twisted was new at the time and pretty basic. Then the old storm system got a lot more advanced over time and in 1.21 they completely revamped the whole thing, so honestly I think it's just a matter of waiting for them to keep adding on and developing this new storm system even more. (Also something I probably would have mentioned if I did something like this would probably be flying debris because I feel like is was one of the coolest things to see debris violently getting thrown around and circulating around tornadoes in past updates. However I do get that it would cause a lot of lag but maybe some time in the future? idk though.)
I didn’t play much 1.18 but I think we can all agree that 1.20 just ruined the intensity with its bland ass tornadoes and the fact you can’t even get a miler unless you get insanely lucky (mesh tornadoes are just goated)
the wild tornado paths were very cool and fun to chase, i had a tornado hook off the map at mizpah then hook back onto the map striking starbuck. the 1.20 tornadoes dont seem to have nearly as much deviation as what 1.18 tornadoes could get.
I won't lie, you have SOME valid points. mainly the spawns and tornados that look the same. HOWEVER, with the interceptor vehicle stats, they are fairly accurately based on the real versions. the real TIV 2 "could" withstand an ef5 aka ~200 mph winds. but they would not be crazy enough to risk their lives to test it for real, so it is speculation and digital calculations. As for the intercept of tiny tornados, yeah its hard. but irl a storm moving at 60mph in corn fields with a width only 2x the size of your car. it'd be very to do it. I personally have gotten my reading and prediction to the point I intercept 70% of those cases, the game would be less fun if it was *Drive A-B perfect intercept, B-C another perfect intercept* having tornadoes that are hard or impossible to intercept make the perfect direct hits more rewarding. Your points are valid and the meshes that make the storms and the car details are my biggest complaint with the game. but the tornado formation and such is just a result of rng and generation limited by the restrictive servers Roblox run this game on, its a problem but not with the game, its a problem with the cheap and corner cutting service roblox is using to support this game.
I think there are some good points in this video. In fact, me and my friends have started to play Helicity recently while we wait for 1.21 because we’re burnt out from Twisted 1.20. Hopefully the next update does bring back some extra life into the game and make it a bit more enjoyable (though the game is already enjoyable, just getting burnt out)
I agree 100%. I hope they add a bit more stuff to do, as well as make storm spawns better. Or make storms move a bit slower, and adjust speed a bit, so atelast you can still catch storms.
I got TWO 300+ tornadoes in 1 day last night including 7 200+ tornadoes in 4 KEYSOTA days on one server and one of the 200+ tornadoes happened AT NIGHT when both radars went down. The thermos for the first 300+ tornado that was 301 mph was 16 STP and 4 VTP. The second 300+ tornado that was 303 mph only happened because a mod reset the time in the server. The thermos for that was 15 STP and 4 VTP. I shattered my old record set back in 1.19 for strongest tornado which was 262 mph. Also I agree, hopefully 1.21 won't be as laggy as well. W video :D
I agree maybe in an update they can make archived versions playable- lately I’ve really missed 1.19. As much as I enjoy the beautiful realism, there’s also a part of me that misses the insanity of 1.19. And just in case you didn’t know when you make a game on Roblox studio all the modifications are saved and archived in case you want to make a different version.
They are trying to bring back the arcade feel for the future from what i know, and they are open to suggestions from the community, however they will not be reverting back to any old updates.
@@stormchasernichtpit1493 yeah there was nothing scarier than deploying in a town when to the SW of you there was a massive hourglass spinning at Mach 1 lol😂
I just started playing this game like a few days ago and the tornados I have seen have been in all different types of area of the map and the game feels good with the storms maybe I am getting into decent good servers but the storms are always different no matter the server
You’re like just getting lucky in that case. Also, if you are playing lower end servers, they have a higher chance to recycle, and spawn storms in cooler locations. And hey, welcome to Twisted!
yeah the direction i wish tornadoes could do loops or completely change direction (i also miss having the exciting spikes in old twisted with my friends and the size spikes)
I do miss the mesh tornadoes. Maybe it’s just nostalgia but the game did have a better vibe then. I feel like the game has leaning more towards sim vs arcade recently, and though that’s no bad thing, its not for everyone.
you know what they need to add backround music thats like Twister THAT WOULD BE SO NICE a remake of the hill scene music playing while you intercept a 200+ tornado THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!
my suggestion is to help the bordem and dryness of the game is to make up challenges, goof around, and use new cars like as an example do twister only cars and probes or if you touch the color brown or green than you have to do something like switch cars and use public servers where you can talk and wait until i good risk day is happening. and the game doesnt only have to be about chasing tornadoes and getting the best pictures, it can be working at jobs like NWS and deep surveying damage even after a weak tornado, emergency services, siriway and taking pictures of tornadoes or roleplaying what it would be like to chase. 1.21 is coming soon and hopefully it will help fix most of these issues. something i would like is car damage and have to repair it with money cause i have 1 million dollars just sitting there.
I agree with a lot of this, after 1.20 released I also kind of got uninterested and stopped playing, I am not a huge fan of the new tornado meshes, I liked how they used to have different shapes but now they’re just the same shape and also look worse as you can see the spheres that make it up sometimes. It overall just looks worse in my opinion and I don’t think it was the best way to do it
I also think the nws and spotter network additions need some refinement. There’s truly no reason to use the spotter network reports as you can pretty much see the tornado from across the map and in the exact same spot within the storm everytime. Nws polygons are tough to build consistently as the storm progresses and even tho the refresh rate can be reduced with a Dow, the storms move unrealistically fast a majority of the time. Doing damage surveys is also an impossible task with little time between tornadoes and the days progressing so quickly. Maybe some sort of true forecasting would be useful as it could give a day or two of nothing going on to help rebuild, survey, and plan. Build up a little bit of suspense.
2:20 that’s the thing. Some tornadoes you can’t intercept and you have to find out the hard way while some you can which I’m pretty sure u figured out by now
I absolutely agree with the west storm chasing area I love to chase over there, now with the interceptors yes they may feel not strong enough at times but your also up against Mother Nature so I wouldn’t say it’s completely overpowering but something to not be like lifted immediately more like being pushed around yes Ik it’s in game but I still feel like sometimes you get immediately sucked in, so rather something like an animation where the spikes break under pressure and then you get pushed around would be interesting and if there is like a 30-40+ mph gust you could be flipped and pulled up there because of the air getting underneath now, that’s a lot of work but would make intercepting dangerous but still like a you got a little too close sorta thing ya know?
The game is between arcade and simulation. If it’s an arcade game, I think it is just fine. If it’s supposed to lean on the simulation side, then the tornado needs to be harder to find and people can’t respawn vehicles. Maybe make one tornado and make the day more of an event. Irl, the anxiety and excitement you feel pre chase is half the fun for me.
I agree, I left twisted for reasons and during that i occasionally played, i started playing again recently and the game just feels different and not the same i used to get high risk with some insane paths and now i get crazy thermos but ither a bad path or a bad spawn, really annoying. If also I got high cape and really low SRH or probaly record SRH and bad cape, on and off. But the game still has know and unknown glitches/bugs and they can be fixed, Ive played this game for a long time, and had a lot of fun, so i dont really care if some thermos or risk are bad im still going to play it and have fun while doing it. also the tornado meshes and are my favorite and graphics wise the game improved.
I dont really have problems with the storm spawns. I do occasionally but overall im okay with them. Now i COMPLETELY agree with the repetition of the tornadoes. So many of them are just large wedges. I miss when massive wedges were actually somewhat rare. I will say tho, the multi vortexes look really good. I kinda disagree with your points on the vehicles. Now i do agree we could use some more vehicles, i mean i have $362k and nothing more to spend it on lol. But the interceptors imo are fine. Itd be too OP if the tiv 2 could intercept 300mph+ tornadoes. The atmosphere is ok i guess. I do miss the green skies though. Completely agree with the rerolling bots. Really shouldnt be a thing. Also think high risks are way too common now. Miss when high risks felt like an event. Anyways im done, nice video 👍
You actually can notice violent circulation in debris clouds, but I'd understand why you might not notice that. For me, its environmental effects. Visually, the tornadoes are very impressive, but they seem a lot less imposing. With the buggy windfields and lack of the 300+ roar from a mile out, it feels too quiet and serene close to violent tornadoes. Maybe playing for so long has left me finally getting bored when im not playing an 18/5 dropping 270 pluses. I also haven't seen a real good 300+ entirely annihilating a city since probably 1.18, but that might be down to luck. I think if the devs worked on sound. Sound is so important to selling media, not many people realize that. You can get awat with poor visuals if the sound carries it, but good visuals and poor sound feels lacking. Maybe a little bit of damage physics (more variations in stuff like maybe debris strewn downwind for low 200s, high 200s obliterated with no debris in sight, etc.) and more indications for extreme winds. I might he willing to do wind analysis to determine some contextual indicators. Also hoping for a return of ground scouring, but I'm doubtful that will happen anytime soon. (It's also a lot less common in the upper midwest due to rocky soil, so maybe that could make sense). Me and my friend Ecto discussed a "dreadnought" interceptor, that could tank extreme tornadoes but had a 90 mph top speed and long deploy time, however, its hard to argue for it when like, 1% of tornadoes go 260+. There's also the issue of peolle just spawning it/respawning it, which would nullify the balance issues. Overall it's hard to justify making it for the slim use case. It's also sad to see Dom 1 relegated to a meme vehicle(personally I think it has a use case as a faster, better accelerating gen 1 intercepter, functioning more as an advanced probe truck that gives you more flexibility with probe placements) but most people just see the low wind stat and throw it in the can. I've also given up with vehicle intercepts in drillbits, I usually just plunk a probe in front and back away but this strategy doesn't always work for HP/Night tornadoes.(I know its supposed to be challengening, but sometimes it feels like there's no skill involved, just luck)
I totally agree, and it’s just kind getting hard to help friends like the game with the game kinda being bland. One statement though, the length of tornadoes can be ridiculous some times.
I agree 100% with the storm spawns and tornado paths bit. For me it's the number one reason why I feel 1.20 has gotten repetitive in that aspect. I feel like I'm in the same areas a lot due to the paths shifting north, and the south part of the map is forgotten along with Angora. I hope 1.21 makes the game a bit more fun and unpredictable. Also, side note I feel like I have only ever seen Mizpah hit because of server lag causing the storms to move slow. Edit: Maybe something they could bring back is off map storm spawns? for ex: storm spawns south of Starbuck off map on a NE day.
@Fusion2307 Yeah, hoping that storms get changes in the next update(s). I also agree with what was said below. Like how insane tornadoes could be produced on any risk. It really only seems like high risks and very specific moderates are capable of doing that now. But as you said they are making a switch back to the arcade feel which is great!
I swear every time I’ve played this game I’ve just gotten wedge after wedge after wedge. When will this game realise I don’t want mile wide monsters? I wanna chase a serene looking stovepipe or cone tornado!
My problem with twisted (this is on console specifically PS5 not sure if anyone else has this issue) it keeps crashing on me and it's only on twisted, it never did that before when Roblox First came onto console back in October but in the recent months it does it, the tornado inconsistently is a problem especially when i boot up the game go into a high risk server yeah I usually intercept the first tornado i see in the game but that usually ends up being either the only one or the rest are just weak tornados, it also doesn't help that some large tornados only stay on the ground for a few minutes or is only strong for a minute then weakens and stays green tvs and the sirens still don't work at all.
I 100% agree with you on all of these. The game has got boring all tornados look the same i miss the 1.19 meshes they give the tornado a uniqueness. And i also think 200+ tornados happen way to often now i mean i miss the feeling. Of getting a strong 200+ or 220 in 1.19 it was thrilling but now even 250 feels not that strong all regaurds here i hope the game is improved in 1.21
I completely agree with this but the last time i saw a tornado hit mizpah was 2022 (and i mean it in a bad way) ever sice july 23rd i havent played twisted
To be honest, I've had to experience where I intercepted a tornado in a dominator 2, while being unaware that the tornado had over 200 mph winds. The tornado was not a wedge. It was a rope
I haven't played in a while due to the constant server resets as well as some internet lag but all in all it is a fun game and I hope to see bigger changes to it!! Sometimes I wish this games was not a Roblox game but a game you can buy on steam or something cause honestly Roblox kinda sucks lately.
only thing i gotta complain about is how laggy it is (and yes ik its a huge map with a bunch of parts so tornadoes can actually rip apart buildings but man)
dude, these are the exact thoughts ive had since 1.20 released. I also dont like that with every high risk i roll there is almost ALWAYS a tornado above 180mph. Performance has also gotten pretty bad since 1.20 released. My frame rate has generally been lower and i am kinda forced to play on lite (same thing can be said for many other people). Towns are also really bland, and a lot of the small ones dont have much character at all. Server crashes are common; it gets very annoying when i try to intercept a violent tornado and the server crashes. The community also doesnt really feel the same as it did prior to 1.19 (kinda unexplainable and it could very well just be me.) But for all of these reasons, i dont really play twisted much anymore, only hopping on every month or so. I hope 1.21 will bring some new stuff that will make the game more exciting lol
I couldn’t agree more with your performance claims, I just did t include anything because that issue has been resolved already and will release in the next update.
This game is still amazing, yes, but i also feel like it's boring. I have bought every gamepass and even made a poorly edited video on it when i liked it, but i don't see myself in the game anymore. I hope they fix some settings making the game more interesting. (i also would have loved to see a game about the old version of the game before 1.20)
i feel like the devs need to add more civilian market vehicles in the game. This would help with realism in a way since not every chaser will use a specialized vehicle in real life.
last time I saw something hit mizpah was the last day of 1.19, but man, 1.20 just feels too repetitive now, in 1.19, I was seein EF-5s from enhanced, and EF-3s from high risks, Long Trackers and Short Trackers on the same day, and trucks slamming into the ground at 158473947mph while intercepting, now I see weak tornados from everything but crazy mdts and highs, only short or long trackers per days, and trucks hitting the ground at 100mph while intercepting, the charm is just gone. I find it more fun to watch 1.19 videos over 1.20 videos, as there is variety, not just the same old-same old.
I remember that my two largest (and strongest) tornadoes that I ever saw before 1.19 being on an enhanced, and a moderate risk, which made them that much more special. I wish that you could still play any old risk and get a ridiculous tornado, like the 1mi+ 290+ tornado on a TSTM in 1.19. I also miss the arcade feel of having comically large tornadoes like the 2.5 mile wide tornado, and the multiple mile wide tornadoes on a single risk. I just wish that those old times where you could see a tornado of any size and any strength anywhere were still here.
What main thing I dislike about this game is the terrible lighting system at night, if you do not have a 'ultra power max rtx 500 fps' computer then you're not gonna see anything at night. I can understand it being pitch black during a storm but it makes night time chasing less fun and not really worth it. I get it should be dark but I've played other games where it's night and I could still see, I may not see much but I could still at least see.
Night time chasing is supposed to be near impossible in twisted, actually you could see this in older updates. They made night time shorter because of this.
Twisted is good game, the problem is that it is quite laggy for low potato players. Since then i only played the low versions until i cant due to the lagging which im quite sad
I really agree like i hate that you get the same looking tornado AND THEY NEVER SHIFT RIGHT i swear in my opinin 1.18 and 1.19 were a little better i like the meshes like hourglasses wedges and stuff and all the things i remebered my record in 1.19 is 2 miles wide its not that long but it is long
I honestly dont know how I feel about ur opinion but I do miss the hourglass shapeshifting No offense to the twisted devs, but Im kinda getting a little annoyed and impatient about the 1.21 update getting delayed even though Im hyped how theres been lots of new revamps on a couple of the vehicles
Ever since they hit 20M visits theyre running a constant high risk with almost each day having at least one tornado at 200+ MPH. Thats probably why they feel samey. Because they all eventually devolve into slabbing wedge tornados that are powerful beyond all reason. 1.21 should bring back the diversity. Here's to hoping.
Well this video was posted way before that for one, and they are doing that on purpose because of 1.21 being so soon. 1.21 should fix everything with that issue.
I understand our opinion. I’ve been playing twisted since it came out and it feels really repetitive. I mean, chasing tornadoes and that’s it. I stopped playing since 2.0 and rn I just play other games like helicity and I’m just checking updates on the game. they could make the tornadoes particles instead of a mesh and make the loading shorter cuz I took 2 mins for me to load into game. also, when I go to the subway in hazelton for some reason there is never ai and there is no lights at the subway so your blind trying to work there. At this point, your not even working anymore. and your so right on the north and south tornadoes I NEVER chase in south and most of times the tornadoes goes off map witch is really annoying and like I join a sever and EVERYONE LITERALLY EVERYONE is in north and haselton. Before the only time I had fun was with my friends but now even with my friends I’m still so bored about this game. I will probably play it again after 1.24. have a good day.
i feel like the biggest point is that the game is really badly optimised i get like 30-60 fps on full settings and i got a good pc with rtx 3070 and ryzen 5 5600x others suffer more
Something I forgot to add in the video: I wish that tornadoes could recycle more commonly on high risk days, because I have yet to see a high risk with more than 5 tornadoes, when it's possible to get over 10 tornadoes in a single day.

I hope for a quick rework of the structures or at least the addition of new forms. Thank you for not keeping silent about this, I’m sure the developers will definitely listen, since they respect your content very much, I’m looking forward to new crazy chases!
You make some pretty good points here, but I'll leave my two cents on your points and things of my own
-Storms spawns, I agree sometimes they are iffy.
(We're moving to future!)
-Rerolling/bots: I've never been a fan of this.
For example, I have EVERY single chaser vehicle (dom 1 tiv 1 tiv 2 dom 2 dom 3 not other ones like vortex) and have been trying to get the DOW for a long time now, though I still find the game to be fun.
yeah I love the work that fusion does
DONT SPILL THE TOFU?
Exactly. I played a enhanced risk and moderate the next day; both plopped down 2 high end ef4s that hit Hazel. 200mph damage indicator, so likely would've ef5s had they hit any DIs.
Im pretty sure you can makes the 1.21 less laggy, so players can be able to playing it on a potato :))
I completely agree with this, I would love to see more random tornado paths. Like if the tornado shifted direction, similar to some historical supercells that took an unusually sharp curve in the opposite direction that most tornadoes go. (I don't remember the term for it rn)
I also feel that there should be a short in game tutorial to walk new players through how to spawn a car, explain how probes make money, a very basic description of how to read radar and storm direction.
I believe the term you are looking for is ecluding
I think they can shift but it's not common because only once did a tornado truly shift but it was dead when it did
Yea, I agree.
I totally agree. Keep up the great work!
I’ve seen servers with 3 days of moderate risks and yeah most of the time they are weak but sometimes you might get a strong one like for one example in my priv server I basically got a Hiram 200mph ef4 which I wasn’t able to intercept but was probably 200+ but I do see where you are coming from
Join an empty server with TSTM and MRGL thermos so that after experiencing weaker tornadoes you’re ready to experiences stronger tornadoes
Thank you Fusion for speaking for the community about these issues, the devs should 100% take notes from this video.
1.18 was the funnest update yet (in my opinion) nothing tops it so far as long as I’ve been playing (2021)
Hopefully the next update does bring back some extra life into the game and make it a bit more enjoyable (though the game is already enjoyable, just getting burnt out)
Hey Zach tell Omni to stop saying cuss words
I’ve comeback after over a year into 1.21 and i love it
I agree 100%. I hope they add a bit more stuff to do, as well as make storm spawns better. Or make storms move a bit slower, and adjust speed a bit, so atelast you can still catch storms.
I agree with all of this, and I do think it'd be easy to fix, which is comforting
@@Fusion2307 I meant like a entirely separate game
I miss the wedge tornadoes in 1.18 and 1.19, they looked way more scarier and more gigantic
@@stormchasernichtpit1493 yeah there was nothing scarier than deploying in a town when to the SW of you there was a massive hourglass spinning at Mach 1 lol😂
@@Fusion2307bringing back mesh tornadoes is the best way to do that imo
I just started playing this game like a few days ago and the tornados I have seen have been in all different types of area of the map and the game feels good with the storms maybe I am getting into decent good servers but the storms are always different no matter the server
You’re like just getting lucky in that case. Also, if you are playing lower end servers, they have a higher chance to recycle, and spawn storms in cooler locations. And hey, welcome to Twisted!
i feel like every single big tornado just goes right to hazelton lol
MAN you're right about the colors I miss the purple rain and emerald glow of a hail core.
It feels like cities never take hits for me
Last time I saw a tornado hit Mizpah was back in 1.17
I saw a 249 MPH hit Wadena During Night time when in 1.18
Oh and my TIV got lifted😅
I hope the creators see this old twisted was amazing!
yeah the direction i wish tornadoes could do loops or completely change direction (i also miss having the exciting spikes in old twisted with my friends and the size spikes)
I do miss the mesh tornadoes. Maybe it’s just nostalgia but the game did have a better vibe then. I feel like the game has leaning more towards sim vs arcade recently, and though that’s no bad thing, its not for everyone.
We don’t have to wait that long almost there
Saturday. Im calling it
you know what they need to add
backround music thats like Twister THAT WOULD BE SO NICE a remake of the hill scene music playing while you intercept a 200+ tornado THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!
thats called spotify
@@Fusion2307 well played mate well played
Pretty sure Fonz said they were adding an in-game soundtrack
@@haroldhihat NO WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
That's why Spotify, iTunes, RUclips Music, and Windows Media Player (or VLC) exist my guy.
my suggestion is to help the bordem and dryness of the game is to make up challenges, goof around, and use new cars like as an example do twister only cars and probes or if you touch the color brown or green than you have to do something like switch cars and use public servers where you can talk and wait until i good risk day is happening. and the game doesnt only have to be about chasing tornadoes and getting the best pictures, it can be working at jobs like NWS and deep surveying damage even after a weak tornado, emergency services, siriway and taking pictures of tornadoes or roleplaying what it would be like to chase.
Build up a little bit of suspense.
even in 1.21, tornados feel like they are always a wedge type, no sidewinders, multi vorts, ropes, its just like they all dissapeared.
I actually was there to experience that 388mph tornado going over hazel, truly a behemoth
I honestly knew this would happen, it’s starting to just be an endless cycle, and why I stopped in 1.19, just got very bored
NE NE NE NE NE SE(goes NE) NE NE NE
The game is between arcade and simulation. If it’s an arcade game, I think it is just fine. If it’s supposed to lean on the simulation side, then the tornado needs to be harder to find and people can’t respawn vehicles. Maybe make one tornado and make the day more of an event. Irl, the anxiety and excitement you feel pre chase is half the fun for me.
It’s supposed to be on the arcade side, however I feel like it’s shifting a bit too far away from it.
Update 1.21 releases on 7pm today😇
I agree
I haven't played in a while because i couldn't play. It would say error server data full. Its dumb. And sometimes it just crashes the lobby.
Sadly that's still happening, but to my knowledge that's an issue on roblox's end
I play a lot since the game came out and somehow I have only seen 3 tornadoes throughout my whole time playing. It’s weird
Edit: Maybe something they could bring back is off map storm spawns? for ex: storm spawns south of Starbuck off map on a NE day.
that's planned i beleive, but i just want them to add it earlier than it's planned because it feels unplayable
@@Fusion2307 wait so are the storm spawns and paths not changing in the next update?
@@Ralstar348 they weee planned to come out later but they might release in 1.21 now
@@Fusion2307 Oh cool!

i wish you could get a little bit of money if they have cameras in the game to take pics of tornados or storms
All of those issues should be fixed in 1.21 related to performance
i would love more storms south of hibbing/viroqua, haven't been there in months
I 100% agree with you on all of these. The game has got boring all tornados look the same i miss the 1.19 meshes they give the tornado a uniqueness. And i also think 200+ tornados happen way to often now i mean i miss the feeling. Of getting a strong 200+ or 220 in 1.19 it was thrilling but now even 250 feels not that strong all regaurds here i hope the game is improved in 1.21
I couldn’t agree more with these points, twisted is extremely flawed now.
I barely even get tornadoes in most servers cuz of awful thermos. and they are usually all TVS 1 and lift before I can intercept
tip: join a high or a mdt to get good nados
so true sir
I completely agree with this but the last time i saw a tornado hit mizpah was 2022 (and i mean it in a bad way) ever sice july 23rd i havent played twisted
To be honest, I've had to experience where I intercepted a tornado in a dominator 2, while being unaware that the tornado had over 200 mph winds. The tornado was not a wedge. It was a rope
Yeah I've had the exact same thing happen to me.
Thats a drillbit tornado
Can a Waterspout or Drill Bit Twister spawn in this game? ( I only played twisted once)
I haven't played in a while due to the constant server resets as well as some internet lag but all in all it is a fun game and I hope to see bigger changes to it!! @@Fusion2307 mb i dont play twisted often so
dude, these are the exact thoughts ive had since 1.20 released. The community also doesnt really feel the same as it did prior to 1.19 (kinda unexplainable and it could very well just be me.)
But for all of these reasons, i dont really play twisted much anymore, only hopping on every month or so. I hope 1.21 will bring some new stuff that will make the game more exciting lol
I couldn’t agree more with your performance claims, I just did t include anything because that issue has been resolved already and will release in the next update.
It just doesn't work on my computer anymore. To laggy. That's why i don't play it.
the main thing is it hasn't been updated since July I think? of last year.
5 months later we back, 2k ppl playing every day

This game is still amazing, yes, but i also feel like it's boring. I have bought every gamepass and even made a poorly edited video on it when i liked it, but i don't see myself in the game anymore. I hope they fix some settings making the game more interesting. (i also would have loved to see a game about the old version of the game before 1.20)
i feel like the devs need to add more civilian market vehicles in the game. This would help with realism in a way since not every chaser will use a specialized vehicle in real life.
they are adding a few more in the next update, thats confirmed.
last time I saw something hit mizpah was the last day of 1.19, but man, 1.20 just feels too repetitive now, in 1.19, I was seein EF-5s from enhanced, and EF-3s from high risks, Long Trackers and Short Trackers on the same day, and trucks slamming into the ground at 158473947mph while intercepting, now I see weak tornados from everything but crazy mdts and highs, only short or long trackers per days, and trucks hitting the ground at 100mph while intercepting, the charm is just gone.
The good thing is that the devs are trying to lower the chance of a 300+. Every time I look in the discord server there is 1 300mph+ tor every 2 hours
I love how I saw this right after I saw a tornado that was 300+ last night create a satellite with 300+ aswell
yep there like three to four 300+ a day which I'm jealous from it lol
Nah bruh a 398 happened wtf
What main thing I dislike about this game is the terrible lighting system at night, if you do not have a 'ultra power max rtx 500 fps' computer then you're not gonna see anything at night. I can understand it being pitch black during a storm but it makes night time chasing less fun and not really worth it.
I get it should be dark but I've played other games where it's night and I could still see, I may not see much but I could still at least see.
Night time chasing is supposed to be near impossible in twisted, actually you could see this in older updates. They made night time shorter because of this.
hi fusion
Twisted is good game, the problem is that it is quite laggy for low potato players. Since then i only played the low versions until i cant due to the lagging which im quite sad
I really agree like i hate that you get the same looking tornado AND THEY NEVER SHIFT RIGHT i swear in my opinin 1.18 and 1.19 were a little better i like the meshes like hourglasses wedges and stuff and all the things i remebered my record in 1.19 is 2 miles wide its not that long but it is long
they needa fix tiv1s speed
Hopefully they fix most of this in 1.21 I feel the same
everything will be fixed if they add blinking lights to cars and hazard lights
they did or something, I’ve just started playing twisted days ago so idk if it’s new but there are blinkers
I honestly dont know how I feel about ur opinion but I do miss the hourglass shapeshifting No offense to the twisted devs, but Im kinda getting a little annoyed and impatient about the 1.21 update getting delayed even though Im hyped how theres been lots of new revamps on a couple of the vehicles
also the lag
Ever since they hit 20M visits theyre running a constant high risk with almost each day having at least one tornado at 200+ MPH. Thats probably why they feel samey. Because they all eventually devolve into slabbing wedge tornados that are powerful beyond all reason. 1.21 should bring back the diversity. Here's to hoping.
Well this video was posted way before that for one, and they are doing that on purpose because of 1.21 being so soon. 1.21 should fix everything with that issue.
but missing vibrant color hasn't that happened in the real world already?
I will probably play it again after 1.24. have a good day.
i feel like the biggest point is that the game is really badly optimised i get like 30-60 fps on full settings and i got a good pc with rtx 3070 and ryzen 5 5600x others suffer more
I cant play it because it kicks me every time I join😢
Idk if its just for me but its laggin so much its barely playable
When’s the next update?
There is no release date yet but it has to be really soon
they are trying to push out 1.21 but it just takes toooo long
i think they should take their time so they can make the best product they can out of 1.21
Bro is #ht1t
i personally think the tornados are bland, its just grey. ik its like that in real life but at least add some textures around to look more like wind
im anger
TWISTED IF YOU ARE WATCHING FIX SOMETHINGGGGG!!!!!
Your voice is so different since your old one 1 year ago
When the update dropped i was the first noticing the downgrade to tornadoes but everyone thought I was crazy or smth💀😂
my game lag in twistet after the update but also in lite mode and the new satelit map is not so cool
For me it is still pretty fun with a group, i just loose intrest and the game is so poorly optimized even tho i have a good pc
honestly they should nerf high risks so that it will be more exciting to get one unlike getting it repeatedly which makes it boring
I think they just need to make the required stp for. A high risk higher
hmm fair
