Haha! We get that all the time! They do look a lot alike! Enjoy the wings!
just made these. Indeed, they are the best I ever had! So tender.. such a pleasure to eat. Used the recipe exactly, which is very easy. I used Save A Lot "Hot Wing Sauce". Used brown sugar. Butter. Just as Kristen says, and it was the bomb.
Wonderfull as always. Thankyou Kristen! Have a great 2023!
Thank you! You too!

Tried this recipe for the 1st time last week. It was so good I'm making it again tonight! The wings are so tender and juicy. Broiling them in the oven gives them the perfect crispness.
Love your video, oh and Go Bucks!
Awesome! And O-H!!!
We are just starting out using our pressure cooker. We love chicken wings, and will follow your reciepe thank you.

Great to hear! It surprised me the first time too
I got gifted my first Instant Pot at Christmas (mom never let me touch hers, said id make it explode or hurt myself). I tried your recipe except w/ fresh sage and rosemary. Meat just melts off like butter?! @@AMindFullMom
It is incredibly amazing, isn't it! And no fear of explosion!@@THEvagabond29
Great video!! Your guys were loving those wings lol😂🤣 Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you so much 😁 And yes they do!
These wings came out fantastic. Thanks so much.
You are so welcome!
Used frozen wings(rinse em and the seasoning will stick) with some rub on the outside and did about 13 min and a natural release until the pin dropped.
Finished them on grill.
PERFECTION 👍
Thanks for the tip about rinsing frozen wings
I remember you when you just started. I am so happy for your success. I always LOVE and trust your recipes because they ever disappoint God bless you always
Thank you so much!
Perfect. Been afraid of cooking wings in the instant pot which I borrowed from my neighbor last month!
Hope you enjoy
I love your videos! keep them coming!
Thank you! Will do!
I was a insta pot rookie until mimd full moms zuppa Toscana. Incredible flavor. Next time skipping the cream. I tasted it before i added it. One of the best flavors i have ever made. Love the family in this one.
Honored the Zuppa was your first recipe! I hope you find many more to enjoy!
Great video. Always informative
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Kristen!
You are so welcome!
Yum!
Wow son looks so much like dad.
Thanks for the easy to recipe
They do look A LOT alike! I hope you enjoy the wings!
I did this! It worked out perfectly! The meat was coming off easily. I'll never fry wings again. I made a buffalo wing sauce with honey mixed in and it was stellar. I'm like some people here, I just come here to your IP recipes. They just work as usual, hands down
I am thrilled to hear you know you can rely on my recipes. And that you enjoyed the wings😊
Let me find out she and the ip saving ppl from fried food clogged arteries ❤😂saving lives YALL
thanks
You're welcome!
7:43 broiling it’s only yo give them the crispy finish, but at that point the chicken is already cooked right?, meaning should one desires, it can be already be served like that no issues correct?.
Thanks a lot by the way, your recipes are awesome and has helped me a great deal to save time and have healthy meals making the most use of my instant pot
Yes, you are correct! There is no need to broil, just a preference. And thank you for your kind words!
Fantastic job. You’re on your game mom!
😊 thank you so much!
I hate cooking but you are saving me. Thanks for all the different videos love the instant pot
@@michaelhall3127 I love hearing that I am helping you save time and eat meals you cook
Do you need to use water to high pressured cooking the frozen wings?
Yes! You always need water (or thin liquid) in order for pressure to be reached.
Hi thanks for this. If I have barbecue or teriyaki sauce do I also add garlic powder and honey?
Oh and the butter too I forgot.
No need to add in the garlic powder, butter, and honey with the prepared sauces. Enjoy!
I wonder if pressure cooker (instant pot) then frying would be good, or would that just be overkill?
I think that may overcook the chicken, I would broil to crisp up the skin instead.
We have an instant pot but neither my wife or myself have hardly used it so we don't use it much! She seems to think it is a waste of electricity but I can't agree because you cooked those wings in what 10 minutes? She suggested I use our Crock-Pot, that is 2 hours minimum! I need to cook a bunch of wings 4-6 lbs for a get together, can I cook them all at the same time in the instant pot or should I do it in small batches? Thanks for such a great video, I am looking forward to trying your recipes! If I was to cook say 4-6 lbs of wings all together should I cook them longer? Thanks for your help I really want to learn more about using our instant pot and I really appreciate any and all suggestions 😊!
I would agree with you, that the instant pot is overall better in this case than the slow cooker in terms of energy. You can fit 4 lbs, 6 may be cutting it close (don't fill more than 2/3rd of the way full) For that many wings, I would increase the cooking time by 1 minute.
Great recipe for the Vikings game on Sunday skol!
Oh yes! Enjoy!
Great video, but am I the only one who saw the $XX.XX price going up as the honey squeezed out that bottle like I was filling up my gas tank? :D great video have used it before.
How long to cook fresh wings using fryer lid @400 Deg??
Hey there! Here is my recipe for Air Fryer Chicken Wings that you may find helpful: amindfullmom.com/air-fryer-chicken-wings/ Be sure to cook them in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, flip and cook for another 8 minutes.
Kristen I'd like to see other videos. Chicken leg quarters. Super Econo- they almost give them away sometimes in the USA. Well, I've got a couple now. I wanted to thaw them first. So I set IP to "1" minute, on high. Then, I will prep them like the wings, cook them, and burn on BBQ sauce. So that's it. 1. Chicken quarters. 2.Thawing food in I.P. thanks. I looked on your website there was no specific "chicken quarters" video. Thank you.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will keep that in mind as I recipe develop.
@@AMindFullMom you have one about cooking frozen. But I want to THAW. These chickin wings need separation before seasoning. They're frozen in a block. Had to use hammer. They are on sale for 99cents a pound so I am cooking up a storm. There are NO videos I know of, on just thawing things in Instant pot.
@@carroll6 Hey there! It is not possible to simply thaw food out, as the high heat will begin to cook the meat. Sorry!
@@AMindFullMom I just schlocked it. Put on 1min, that busted up the wings nicely. Then seasoned them, cooked them. Best batch yet! :) I've made these 3 times now in the past 5 days. :)
I'm making these your way Kristen. I've noticed others just pour BBQ sauce or whatever, over the wings in the basket. Have U tried it this way? I will comment when finished.
You can certainly use another sauce, whatever you would like.
@@AMindFullMom Yes Kristen, but BEFORE cooking. They slather up the wings with the bbq, then put them in the instant pot. I sure like "your way" and will make these again very soon!
@@carroll6 Ah, yes, I wouldn't slather in sauce until after cooking :)
My good friend Heather was a chef before she died in a car wreck 8 yrs ago. I asked her why my chicken always came out tough. She said NOT to cook chicken twice (I was defrosting in microwave and then baking them). You're cooking them twice here-instapot and again in broiler. It makes me wonder how tender they are.
First of all, I am sorry about the loss of your friend. As for the chicken, broiling for this short amount of time will not make a huge impact on cooking the chicken. It is completely different than microwaving and then baking.
Question, after hot pot cooking, instead of broiling can I fry them instead and will the results be the same?
Frying the wings may result in overcooking the meat. I would recommend air-frying or broiling. If you do fry the wings, just do it BRIEFLY.
Your respond really helps, can you give some insights, lets say 10mins pot cooking and 3 minutes frying is not enough? I may test it base on your preference. And after pot cooking can i just set it aside for atleast 6 hours before frying and what is the consiquences in doing so
Can I do this: hot pot cooking by water for ten minutes then coat with seasoned starch and flour mixture then fry when serve for 2-3 minutes. Is this idea doable?
@@incite1111 I don't recommend partially cooking meat and then recooking, as bacteria can grow. You can fully cook the chicken, cool it, refrigerate, and then fry to reheat. That may be your best option.
@@incite1111 Yes, that sounds potentially doable.
Just throw into airfryer with nothing on it then let it cool to warm then add your Buffalo sauce. Just as good.
How to cook chicken Brest in the instant pot
How to cook chicken Brest until tender in the instant pot
amindfullmom.com/instant-pot-chicken-breasts/ here you go😊
Can I cook them on a stovetop??? my crockpot lid cracked!! 😱😓
Oh dear! I would bake them in the oven at 425 degrees for 40 minutes, turning halfway.
Looked big for a teaspoon of garlic..like a tablespoon
HA! It may have been the angle of the camera.
Just put them in oven or air fryer.
I do AFTER pressure cooking. It is a huge difference in texture when you pressure cook first.
@@AMindFullMom I love my pressure cooker.
For a minute there, I thought you hubby was another son! :P
🤣 he will appreciate hearing that
I love you Kristen ♥
Ah, thanks! I am happy you are enjoying my recipes.
Trying to figure out why I would even want to do this. I can put them in the oven for 25 minutes (way less time and effort) and get the same results. Starting to think buying this instant pot was a total waste…not giving up yet though. But isn’t it just a bit ridiculous to show meal ideas that take way longer than a conventional oven? 🤔
Hey there. I get it. And there are many things I would never recommend making in the Instant Pot. However, the wings become so much more tender using this method than the oven.
@jeffc609 Did you figure it out yet?
I’ve had my instant pot for 2 yrs now and feel the same way. 😂 I can count on one hand how many times I’ve used the air fryer.
Because you can cook from frozen. Can't do that without an Instant Pot
I use my instant pot for everything. Especially when I cook any meat from frozen, It also saves you from heating up your whole kitchen in the summer and getting lots of pans dirty. I recommend making pot roast or pulled pork in it if you're just trying to save time though even chilli, you don't need to cook them for hours to develop the flavors like cooking in the oven or on the stovetop. It also is great for making bone broth after you make the wings or a whole chicken you can throw in vegetable scraps and cook for an hour and half instead of 6 hours on the stovetop, I hope that helps y'all figure out some great uses for your pressure cooker.
