The two class action suits against Patelco are legally unethical. Credit unions have no substantial assets besides the members' deposits. The plaintiffs are suing their own assets/themselves. Unless the targets of the suit are 1) any liability policies taken out by Patelco or 2) the assets of the Board of Directors, CEO, and Head of IT, the suits need to be dismissed soon.

The law firm is gonna steal more money from Patelco than the hackers were able to do. So if you sign up as an injured person in the lawsuit, you might get a month or 2 of fees waved, but the lawyers will get millions of $$$.
