So, Grace was a baby orphan that was found floating on a river in a village and was adopted by a childless couple. Strangely, ever since she was adopted, the fishermen had amazing luck catching fish. The locals started to believe that Grace was some sort of deity of the hunt or the deity’s messenger sent to insure that the fishermen gets a plentiful harvest. Soon enough, the villagers started to worship her like a goddess and the fishermen brought a part of their daily catch as an offering to ensure the next one will be just as great. Of course, she was confused and didn’t understand why they believe her to be associated with the plentiful harvest and even though she believed that she was a normal human being, she couldn’t help but feel out of place among the villagers, it seemed like the only place where she feels at home is by the lake, watching the fish there swim merrily and at peace. Then, one night, while the fishermen was doing some late night fishing, a storm blown in out of nowhere and the fishermen had only caught a measly few fish. As soon as the word of the storm got out to the rest of the village, the locals’ love for the once-revered girl turned into hate for they came to the conclusion that Grace was not a deity’s gift, but a selfish witch pretending to be one in order to trick the people into worshiping her. Even the people that took her in turned against her the moment the rumors of her “witchcraft” reached their ears. The people captured her and decided to put her in a net weighed down by an anchor in order test her and see if their suspicions about her were true. When they tossed the anchor, along with the poor netted Grace, off into the sea, she couldn’t help but to be furious at the villagers for accusing her of witchcraft all because of one storm, especially when they practically worshipped her before it happened. All her anger also seemed to cause her to grow webbing between her fingers and her skin to become a greenish white and scaly like a fish also she started to hear the fish around her talking. They told Grace how they live in fear of humans because of how they are the humans’ prey and how they are too weak to fight back. That’s when Grace realized the truth and decided to get her revenge and the fish’s revenge on the villagers that had betrayed her, by terrorizing them as the very thing that the people thought her to be...the very thing she realized herself to be...her true self...a sea witch.

hy Do Bees Make Honey? Updated: 9th February 2021 Question: Why do bees make honey? The short answer is: Honey bees make honey as a way of storing food to eat over the cooler winter period, when they are unable to forage and there are fewer flowers from which to gather food. Honey is ideal for bees - it is full of nutrients and is a great energy food, because it is high in sugars. When you consider that whilst flying, a honey bee's wings beat about 11,400 times per minute, you can guess they need a great deal of energy! They also beat their wings to regulate the temperature in the hive - even when they are not flying out to forage for food, there is tremendous activity in the hive, and all this work requires energy. How is honey made? Briefly: Honey bees convert the sweet nectar they gather from flowers into honey. The nectar is stored in honeycombs. The nectar they are storing starts to concentrate (this means the water content is reduced). This process prevents bacteria and other nasties from forming in the honeycomb, because bacteria and fungi cannot multiply in high concentrations of sugar, and this is why honey keeps indefinitely! This means that honey is a form of food the bees can store, without it going bad. Aah, the wisdom of honey bees! You will find a very full description of this process on my page How Do Bees Make Honey? (but the question 'why?' is different!) A chunk of honey comb with honey oozing from the wax cells How do bees make a chunk of comb oozing honey, like this? But for now, why not read on... Why do bees make honey, then store it? Why don't they simply eat it as they go along? Well imagine this. You're stuck in your home, and the weather is so bad, that you're unable to go out and get food, and even if you could go out for food, there wouldn't be much around anyway! That's what it's like for honey bees in winter. Whilst they may be able to forage on a dry, cold day, it's unlikely there will be many flowers for them to forage on. (That said, it's always a good idea to grow winter shrubs and flowers for bees in your garden if you can!). For this reason, they collect, then store their food to last them through the winter months when there are fewer flowers. It's a good idea to plant flowers and shrubs that flower early so that honey bees will be able to feed again in cold weather. Below is a photograph of a honey bee worker foraging on a winter flowering shrub called Daphne Jaqueline Postill. The photograph was taken on a very cold day in a public garden, but there were many shrubs in flower from the end of January so that there was plenty for hungry honey bees to feed on. A honey bee worker foraging on a cluster of small, pale pink flowers of a waxy-leaved Daphne shrub. Is it alright for humans to steal the honey, then? Assuming there is plenty of food available for the bees from plant and tree blossoms, and assuming the weather is okay for the honey bees to venture out, then hopefully there is plenty of honey so that it's alright for humans to take some of it. Remember that in the wild, predation is natural. Other insects, mammals and even birds (often with the help of another predator) will steal some of the honey from honey bee nests! Skilled beekeepers have a good idea about how much honey they can take without harming a colony. What Is Honey? There's more to honey than meets the eye! Honey is a sugary substance made by bees using the nectar they have collected from flowers. The bees mix this with a special substance called the 'bee enzyme'. A basic scientific formula is as follows: Sucrose (nectar) + invertase (bee enzyme) = fructose + glucose (honey). Bumble bees don't make honey, instead, they have little pots of nectar. You can read more about this 'do bumble bees make honey' here. Since IDV has a lot Lovecraft references, it’s possible she must be a Deep One, a race of amphibious humanoids that resemble fish people. They are notorious for interbreeding with humans, Deep One human hybrids look human when young but as they grow older they develop more fish-like traits and become dependent and comfortable in bodies of water until all their human traits disappear and fully convert into a Deep One and will join their Deep One relative in the waters. Deep Ones are immortal but can be killed and have a psych connection to one another and have a diet of aquatic life, they are located around the globe and build massive underwater cities. Although Deep One human communities have existed for a long time, a notable Deep One human community is a town called Innsmouth, a fishing town located in the coast of Massachusetts and near Devil Reef which just so happens to have a large Deep One city. The town over fished and was loosing a lot of money, Deep Ones arrived and offered the locals many fish in exchange for being mates for them. Ever since then, the town became isolated from the rest of the state and only few come to visit to find the locals being very strange looking and smell awful, as well as them worshipping a deity named Father Dagon. The town and Devil Reef was then eliminated by the U.S government causing the elimination of the Deep One community in Massachusetts, it’s possible that this new hunter originated from Innsmouth and ended up in her foster parents’ hands, which lead to the events that unfolded now.
No, she was given the name due to her humanoid appearance and association with water. Hastur and Yidhra are both directly taken from Lovecraftian lore, so the idea has alot of merit.

I wanna make her my main, she's so pretty. 😩
This particular hunter is gonna be really important to the main story. A trident will most likely be her weapon.
Examining the story trailer a lot of it can be attributed to her. Especially in the end of the trailer where flashes of words are shown one of the words are “Mermaid”,
Her weapon is going to be a harpoon
@@kchandayco2372 She's actually a Naiad, though.. She doesn't have a tail-
@@worldwidesu I mean “mermaid” is still like a generalized term for humaniod water dwelling being.
@@worldwidesu Also which other character would fit the description one would have of “Mermaid” other than Naida. Maybe feaster but cmon we both know that wouldn’t be it.

If she has an interesting gameplay mechanics i'm definitely buying her. ^^
Edit: NetEase please release the music from this trailer. 🙏🏻
I love grace but I wish her model was more frowny, we don’t have a lot of hunters who don’t have happy models and I think it would be more true to her story as well.
SHES LITERALLY GORGEOUS
witch lover
So we got the little mermaid on the hunter side as the feaster girlfriend
Pretty sure the towns folk sacreficed her to feaster (bc the vilage at the lake is also prob. Lakeside village)
@@minus606 it looks like a different village, and I don’t think they sacrificed to hastur, because hastur made the village disappear when they sacrificed Volcker berglund and the haywards in a cruel way. Hastur doesnt like cruel sacrifices, so I don’t think they would risk it. Even so, he made michiko come alive again. So if this was his lake maybe he’d done the same to this hunter.
I ship it
No-
i love her already
She looks like Joseph and Mary‘s Child but I already love her
She is cool and interesting!
I can't wait to see her skills!
she looks very interesting!
Now this makes me want to play IDV again
i think the song ''crucified'' by army of lovers goes really well with these visuals, especially 1:07
I came as soon as I heard she will be mine
Grace and Bella’s back story hurt me so deeply
The animation has improved so much, it’s super dynamic
NO STOP WHY IS THIS KINDA SAD
I can t wait too see her ingame skin and her ability
She didn't deserve to die like that ): Poor bubba, I just want to give her a warm hug
IM IN LOVE WITH HER NO JOKE

Such a beautiful story!
This is tragic not beautiful
@@Ganjigpt30 there is beauty in tragedy
I always wished for a siren character but got this instead, it was the same with painter and beekeeper, really do feel like as if on a similar wavelength to game devs sometimes.

IS IT JUST ME OR DO I HEAR A CIPHER MACHINE DECODING-
People are so stupid they made themselves think she was a god and when it turns out she wasn’t they just kill her. Like who tf told you she was a god in the first place?
She better be meta I'm tired of maining Joseph.

Naiad era mucho para ese mundo
I just had a match with this hunter, and when I tell you shes fast… like fast than the last hunter in his wheel form, I ALMOST SHAT MYSELF… ONLY ONE TO SURVIVE
She's probably a demi goddess if you think about, even as a human she had gills so she's most likely a child of hastur with a random human woman if we get into possibilities
Ok her skill going to be looks like grave keeper swim underground
I would've adopted her and not let that happen to her
GRACE IS SO GORGEOUS?? HELLO?? MISS?? MAY I HOLD YOUR HAND???
Man, why Joseph and Marry decided to dropped their baby in the river?
I tried to change.
The new hunter is literally Moses
Her Backstory makes Me Love Her even though I have never liked any Females Character before on This Game
I just knew there would be a mermaid hunter! 😍
Niad dont kill fish
The town:
She likes fish nani
She is annoying af as a hunter but she is beautiful af
Chill you just made 2 i cant afford stop making more
The only problem is that every rank match i go to you can expect that she is always the hunter

众所周知网易是一个动画片公司
i’m queen mary main but but this lady is too pretty I can’t 🥲
Yo remember me from a few months back. So I got a new idea for a survivor, and that is NEET
NEET’s abilities
The digital world: With him, he carries a phone. When activated, survivors within a 45 meter radius (including himself), will receive a 20% increase in movement , decoding, and pallet dropping speed, while the hunter will have 30% slower attack recovery. The skill will last for 15 secs, and can be used 3 times per match, with a cd of 40 secs. All players including the hunter can see his location for 2 secs when the skill is activated, and will always be hit with Terror Shock when the skill is active.
Comfy Chair: His ability to be comfortable in any state increases the chair duration by 5% on the first half, and 3% on the second half.
Weak body: His vaulting speed and pallet dropping speed is decreased by 10%.
Veteran gamer: When the hunter is within a 35 meter radius, his ability to play games even under pressure, increases his decoding speed by 10%.
I have a feeling she would get along with bloody queen
And thats how this op hunter born
0:34 0:51 there something in her neck
