Excellent, your position of camera / angles are very strategic. Alcos are an endangered species, so its always a treat to watch them chugging along!
Its good that it is ending coz Alcos do 10x more pollution than nowadays's EMD also they consume more diesel.

it makes me feel nice to see two diesel locomotives connected together properly ie long hoods connected together (for WDG3 /WDM3 alcos) and with WDP4/WDM4 connected with cabs on outer sides.
but recently i realised that they do not connect the locs with long hood forward by choice
but then sometime there is a MU cable issue due to which the locos have to be connected in non ideal manner ie long hood ahead :(
That sudden acceleration was for camera..! 🤪
