  • Another couple of leather bracelets. These I made while I was in the garden. This type of bracelet you can make on the bus to work or in front of the TV. Or even in your workshop. Great little exercise to keep the kids quiet or get them into a new hobby

I made a hat band with the 2nd technique. With the two tail ends, i tidyed up with a Turks head.
The 1st technique is a good way to keep extension cords from getting tangled up in a truck bed.

The first braid looks nice when you take the time to make the leather bits all face the one way. In videos I don't take the time to do things the way I would if I was selling them. I like to show the technique. People know to take more time on them. The videos would take to long otherwise, On top of that it is really hard to make something and hold it working against myself for the benefit of the camera. The second braid was not thought of , I just remembered it as I finished the first but it is a nice braid. Leather work is great when you are with friends, I love teaching kids with their parents, Watching them bond is great, I tell the parents do not take the leather out of the kids hands. let them do it all. It really works when parents talk to the kids

I where short sleeve shirts all year round. I don't mind the cold. I was in New York a couple of years back. There was snow on the ground. I ended up buying a jacket , Because people kept asking was I ok

I do like my fishing. I have my own slipway its 156 feet long and goes to low tide, That way I can get out at anytime of the day. I have a Rhib Boat with a 55hp on the back and a little boat with a 4hp. I go out on the little one more, Because I like rowing it. The little one is a bit scary when the dolphins come up close to it.

Ahh, the Turks head knot. One of the better tutorials I’ve seen on it

I never new the name for these braids. When I braid it is normally just for fun in front of the telly. The Turks head knot is a different knot to me, We do a Turks head knot on top of a tassel on a sporran
