In 1984, the creative and production team of Stu Sleppin & Bob Teeman created this pop singing artist, Nolan Thomas. Following the success of "Yo Little Brother", Teeman/Sleppin Entertainment spun off another group comprised of the kid rock stars who performed in the music video - and called them "The Vid Kids" Nolan Thomas & The Vid Kids toured the US for the next 2 years.

I remember watching this and the "Where's the Cap'n" vid on ColorSounds, when it came on public television. They used the lyrics to videos to teach people to identify parts of grammar. With the songs out today, they couldn't do that too much, ha ha! Imagine.... hit music videos on PUBLIC TV! Those were the days......
