Got to be honest, I LOVE this new "Jack goes on a tour" before the matches! We get to see the stadiums of kinda obscure teams in the english non-league, and, if you keep going on with it, we can see the progress as the teams gets promoted. I really like that!
Guernsey FC Facts! In Guernsey’s second season in the English league, in 2012/13, a combination of bad weather and being on a cup run (they got to the semi finals of the FA Vase), there were many postponed games for the team. This led to a period starting in April 2013 where they had to play 16 games in 30 days! During the May bank holiday they played four league games in four days, and successfully gained all 12 points and gained promotion! This was the second promotion in two years for the team, moving them into the 8th tier. Guernsey FC also has a rivalry with other islands. Specifically Jersey and Isle of Man, both of which have also now joined English leagues. Of note here is the annual Skipton Cup. This is a yearly competition between Isle of Man FC and Guernsey FC, which admittedly has only been going since 2021. Guernsey FC won the inaugural competition and Isle of Man won in 2022. This is held in the preseason. Therefore I believe for the sake of this long standing tradition, a pre-season friendly, The Skipton Cup, must always be held against Isle of Man FC (if they are actually in the database, although I think they are in the 9th division so may not be.)
I think it's brilliant that you're doing a little tour to see the facilities for away games. Be some interesting places to see I expect. Excellent episode as ever Jack!
Moving to Guernsey for work tomorrow! Really hope I get a chance to see the team on the odd Saturday. Really enjoying the away game 'stadium' previews too, Jack.
Love the stadiums tour. I actually do that with my national league North save. As a Canadian, I don't know much about lower leagues and I like to imagine the travel my team and fans does for matches. About 900 likes from more park content :D
Editing Jack! I believe Northwood were mentioned in the Inbetweeners, would have loved to see the “Ohhh Northwood? Nice knowing you…” clip make it into the episode somehow
Glad someone else is now looking at where they play there games in maps! I've always done this, makes it feel a bit more real and stops every game feeling the same. Keep it going!
Also, I feel like, for the next transfer window, a destroyer CDM and a CB who is just like a tower, like Jarrell Quansah was, woukd be nice additions to the team. On this level, you kind of need these types of players hahaha
I agree with the momentum statement. I started managing Scarborough Athletic. Expected to finish either 18th or 19th. I'm top of the table after losing my first 3 games and have been unbeatable since. All my defenders are 2-3 current ability. Even after losing Ayari at the end of his loan from Sheffield in January didn't slow me down. The momentum is ridiculous.
This inspired me to run my own Guernsey to World Domination and have found some interesting issues. Fazackerly hates me cos I cant give him a 2k per week contract, a new midfielder requested a transfer just 2 in game hours after signing because I hadn't upgraded training facilities as promised (cant afford it and the ink hadn't dried on his signing) and 2 new defenders want to leave 3 days after signing as I haven't strengthened attackers as promised. They signed, played a game, demanded to leave.
I do enjoy the Google Maps away days. It feels a bit like listening to someone standing next to a minibus wondering where the fuck they're dragging the travelling faithful *this* Saturday. =]
Speaking of central mids and ratings, I've seen my mezzala on attack this year get insane ratings. They tend to go full on attack a lot and might leave you vulnerable on the counter, but I've had multiple seasons with 10+ league goals in average teams from average cm's as mezzala on attack. I would recommend using a DM and b2b in a trio with it, though.
I started with just now Dulwich hamlet in my journeyman my top Striker is Nelson agho in vanarama north(or south) not sure, he was at trial when joined and I signed him absolute gem
Jack there’s a player called Ross Allen. He was and still in Guernseys all time best player and top scorer. He used to score 50 odd goals a season for them. Not sure if he is in fm23 as not got it yet. But search for him.
I once had a save with Gateshead and signed Agho in the 6th tier and he scored 10 goals in a prem season before he retired, would recommend signing him
That deflected Vaughan goal, got to love it. It's about time they introduced the possibility of this type of goal as in previous versions, it just wouldn't happen. It would probably just be blocked and go out for a corner
Renell McKenzie-Lyle *must* be Kai McKenzie-Lyle's brother, ex Barnet and Liverpool youth gone Welling who scored in his debut for the Guyana national team... as a goalkeeper
Olly Thomas looks like a cheat code for that level, I really wonder if that low Concentration can prevent him from tearing the league down next season. He has amazing pace, finishing, dribbling, first touch and probably most important, amazing off the ball for this level, but on the other hand he would probably shit himself if he had to play anything else than striker lol. Love this series, keep up the good work Jack :)
Bring on the revolution. Bloody Sunday as hopefully it can be known. The old guard are holding back this team. Time to release the shackles, and welcome the South of England's discarded prospects with open arms.
Love the videos. I was checking your page. Do you have any tutorials on how you set up your scouting, training, and stuff like that? I've only played Touch previously and the full version is a bit overwhelming. Thanks in advance!
I would've clicked the like button 5 times now if it were possible to do so. Come on you guys, let's ramp up that like button and have this Sunday Guernsey Upload.
Jack, I would push the like button 5,000 times if I had a rubber thumb. We've got to see the transfer special to see the start of promotion at the end of next season!
This being a one club save, I'm so excited to see what becomes of these 16/17 year olds! I foresee them coming off the bench to lift the champions league trophy in their mid 30s.
Olly Thomas might be classified as inconsistant but such are his other stats that at this level that those stats will probably counter the inconsistancy rating,
Enjoying this mate! I love the idea of simming the beginning of the season and then getting hired off the back of that. I like your team, but PLEASE get rid of Callum Rose. The man's been a liability! He's afraid of the ball
Im the creator of the tier 8 Database that @workthespace is using, Can i ask is anyone using this database not able to sign players? Espcially at Level 7 & 8 clubs.
AWESOME VID! I have a question, I'm also trying the 'Park to Prem' on my own starting with Guernsey. How can you take control of you youth/u18/u23 team? I can't find the option on my FM23....
I'm still fairly new to this channel, But i swear he signed too many strikers on in the last park to prem series as well? I'm guessing this isn't a new addiction at all.

I totally agree, a skin maker should add a Google street view into the stadiums in the game also
I’m new to this channel and I’m loving things like that. My morning now starts religiously woth Jack and lollujo
Same !
Reminds me of the good old days of GoldenFM with his Paul's trips feature.
Everybody better likes this because we want more park to prem 😁

+1 for this comment!

Looking forward to seeing Vaughan and Williams in the Welsh National Team in years to come!

As a local northwood fan gutted we couldn’t get promoted did a celebration when they scored in the last minute, loving the series so far
Have had this series on my watch list for a while, been great so far love seeing the super low league saves
I’m here since TLT, missed most of the last two years of PTP but this year I’m here to watch it all.
❤️
Loving it so far
Also, I feel like, for the next transfer window, a destroyer CDM and a CB who is just like a tower, like Jarrell Quansah was, woukd be nice additions to the team. On this level, you kind of need these types of players hahaha
Jack: I’m not going to throw one player under the bus. . .I’m going to throw three players under the bus. Love it!
Ooooh I live near Northwood! Playing my local team there!
No better timing for a transfer special than a weekend episode!
im from the area where some of these teams are from and its fun seeing you match up against all my local teams. i played for merstham youth!!
Love this Jack, keep going strong. I also love the 'travel to the pitch' tour.
Enjoyed your first season at Guernsey. Solid foundation to build on. Good luck with your squad building in the season 🍀⚽️👍
Next to Northwood's ground is a cemetery. Imagine kicking the ball over and hitting a grieving widow 🤣
I love that park to prem is back, there's something new to look forward to each week day now!
Really love the way you run the commentary
Love the stadium visits! Keep them coming!

5k ❤ looking forward to our Sunday edition, withdrawal symptoms over the weekends! Best series every year!!

Absolutely loving the series so far
Looking forward to the transfer special. Bring in the future heroes!

@Telegraph_Real_WorkTheSpace no thanks.
Been waiting for this for so long and it’s not disappointing! Keep it up from MiniAndaval (you could never say the name) on twitch
Tobin the heart of the Green Lions 🦁 ♥️
Away day section good addition.
I look forward to this series everyday, makes my day a little better :)
chad.

I feel like everything Jack said had a direct consequence right after. Hilarious
That deflected Vaughan goal, got to love it. It's about time they introduced the possibility of this type of goal as in previous versions, it just wouldn't happen. It would probably just be blocked and go out for a corner
Jack you're by far the best FM you tuber ever, keep up the good work thanks
anyone notice the sideline ads during the first game? "Join Prostate F.C."
I've had Nelson Agho at Port Vale in FM21, he was never my best player on paper but I kept him around because if there was a chance he'd put it away.
Renell McKenzie-Lyle *must* be Kai McKenzie-Lyle's brother, ex Barnet and Liverpool youth gone Welling who scored in his debut for the Guyana national team... as a goalkeeper
Love these! The Isthmian South Central is a very good and competitive league
Park to prem just makes my day so much better, so thank you

Love the away days! Keep them coming.
Please keep making this series its been great to watch. Please everyone give a 👍
Tobin brothers playing u-21 for you the rest of their career
Well done Jack, great start to your P2P series, quick question for you, where did you get the lower league stadium pics from please?
Bring on the revolution. Bloody Sunday as hopefully it can be known.

Come on, bonus Sunday episode!!!

Tips for making more money when in lower leagues? Currently in 3rd tier of Spanish football losing about €150,000/month
Ellis Vaughan is the best player in the club and if he continues to do that next season we might take a shot in the playoffs.
Jack, I would push the like button 5,000 times if I had a rubber thumb. We've got to see the transfer special to see the start of promotion at the end of next season!
I'd just like you to know I also love Bargain Hunt.
Get that next episode at the ready
This being a one club save, I'm so excited to see what becomes of these 16/17 year olds! I foresee them coming off the bench to lift the champions league trophy in their mid 30s.
Few teams we’re I live ❤ it goi g bk to Boston ptp
I’m already excited for the next episode!
Fazakerley has to stay around until his finishing goes up to 4, if it can happen for Steven Gold it can happen for him!
Loving the new P2P Jack! Do you think it’s worth changing the attributes colours to highlight who’s better at these lower levels?
Olly Thomas might be classified as inconsistant but such are his other stats that at this level that those stats will probably counter the inconsistancy rating,

Has a Tooting and Mitcham United fan that result hurt me
That's a great home kit by the way, quite tempted to get one 😅
Was that Troy Chiabi up front for Northwood? He's my striker in my Grays Athletic save!
I just checked the pre-match screens - it was!
Excelente vídeo 🎉🎉
Despite that penalty going in, Fazakerley's no Steven Gold though is he?
Released from bristol and now a sub in the amature league. No wonder his photo looks like a mug shot.
Meanwhile IRL - Basingstoke 8-0 Guernsey 😅
DKM could do a job...
injury prone doesnt matter if he is the 5th choice striker ! he will either be playing or be injured and that works for 5th choice
When half your strikers are injury prone it is though 😅
@@WorkTheSpace hopefully it will be cyclical and they will not all be injured at the same time.
such a price on forbes but so worth i hope!
Get them likes in bois
Will this park to prem be like the tow law town where you stay with one team? I kinda miss them types of park to prem
Are the Tobins really brothers? If so that’s amazing
Bring on the transfer special!!
Let’s go!!!!
AWESOME VID!
I have a question, I'm also trying the 'Park to Prem' on my own starting with Guernsey. How can you take control of you youth/u18/u23 team? I can't find the option on my FM23....
They dont have those teams without requesting them!
Currently doing a park to prem, I can’t seem to sign anyone decent as everyone doesn’t want to come to me or they want way to much money?
I hope Vaughan got a written apology
I posted it on his Facebook wall publicly
Is northwood the place in the inbetweeners. When Simon gets beat up by the little Yr 7s??
Think we should get 4,999 likes to call Jacks bluff
Gimme da bonus jacky boy
A comment for the algorithm 😁
Hi, please tell me, where did you get kit and 3d kit for Guernsley ?
BETTER HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON, I THINK WE JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR MONDAY !!!
That many strikers is fine since 3 of them will likely disappear come the new season lol
What do we get if you get 10k likes Jack? Double bumper episodes on Monday?
I am not sure what's the difference between these two; will the Google Earth be better than Google Maps for Jack goes on a tour"?
Loaring needs a testimonial lol
Algerythm ultras ❤
whats the purple line going down the screen towards the left
I'm still fairly new to this channel, But i swear he signed too many strikers on in the last park to prem series as well?
I'm guessing this isn't a new addiction at all.
