Mercedes-Benz GLE is a continuation of the M-Class launched in late 1990s. Actually it was called ML, because BMW wasn’t too pleased with calling it M-Class. The ML was supposed replace the G-Wagon, which it didn’t. First generation ML was also supposed be a collaboration with Mitsubishi, based on the Pajero. That didn’t happen for technical reasons, so Mercedes-Benz went ahead, and designed the SUV on its own. It featured body-on-frame design, and was the first luxury SUV offered with ESP. Thanks to a multitude of airbags it scored well in crash tests. And of course, ML was quite capable off road. Second generation debuted in 2005, and current third generation in 2011.

Auxiliary heating is a must!
Have the same make and color.. the rear does have aircon for a total of 3 zones and the car does have step down gaurd for easy getting down . You also didnit mention the air suspension.

People keep saying it’s dated I don’t agree,they say that the dash looks dated,why because it’s got knobs and buttons and doesn’t look like an iPad,give me knobs and buttons any day that you can feel working over a touch screen you have to look at while driving,I’ve ordered one in brown.

Options I wish I had chosen: Memory seats and Nappa Leather. Then maybe panoramic sun roof. Great car to drive and engine very smooth. Shame the Ad Blue tank takes away the option of a spare wheel.

You're right. Must have been a typo in my script. That being said, in Europe it probably can't tow that much anyway, because it would exceed gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tons.

Could you express your opinion on having a 23l bigger tank? ...what mileage do you see in the optimal road conditions (e.g. motorway), when cruising at 130km/h?
On comfort aprox 9.5 10.l100km
Get an F-Pace 3.0 diesel instead. 250-300 kg lighter, 45+ hp more, 100 Nm more and looks significantly better inside and out :)

or an x5 30d which drives sportier and looks more up to date both inside and out ;) i reviewed a 2018 model on my channel and sporty drivers who still need SUV's will like it over the gle350d

Despite the updates. The model is so outdated
The ugliest SUV ass in the world, I still do not understand the people who buy it. Also, the interior looks like it is 10 years old... The coupe is much sexier, however, again, interior is more for 90s.
Agree with you, any Mercedes will be anyone's best car, congrats on your 333 hp sexy looking SUV, enjoy your ride.
You can still fined Yugo are zastava if you are lucky.
