This makes me think about my mother: she used to cook even more delicious things for me when I went to school. Now I'm a "poor" University student away from home and I cook my own lunches... they're good, but hers were special. I'm glad to my mum for making many of my days brighter. I love her and I hope to make her proud!

So, I started doing the same even tho it wasn't healthy and wouldn't eat my mom's.And at one point she must've gotten tired of making them and me not eating them so, she stopped and just gave me money. And it wasn't till then when I realized just how precious her lunches were! All I got from what I did was iron deficiency anemia and probably upsetting my mom. I'd do anything to go back in time and just not do that, but sadly that's not possible... Be grateful to ur parents if they make you lunches! Let them know it's appreciated!

I don’t remember my parents ever being able to do something like this. I wonder how many parents actually do this? And if it puts pressure on parents who can’t? It’s not against the concept - super fun, creative and loving, but I just started noticing that kids lunch went from ham & cheese sand which, chips and fruit, to something more creative than my adult meals 90% of the time 😂
