So the developer pretty much thought "what if you were playing Zelda, but the game was all about looting the dungeons and selling your stuff, instead of being a hero and rescuing a princess?".

How short is it? Is there any long term replay value?

I've had this preordered since October 2nd and the physical release keeps getting delayed, at least here in the states. Just got another email from Best Buy, now it's November 9th. It's only available for ship to home, apparently BB stores won't be carrying it. Oh well with GCU and my reward certificate it was $22, and there's plenty to play in the meantime.

@@WavyVaporizers Mine will arrive sometime today via UPS. I went with Best Buy because I'm still part of GCU and therefore got 20% off. Also had a $5 BB reward certificate, so I paid $22.
@@WavyVaporizers Funny thing is I was forced to order it for home delivery with no option for store pickup. I looked today and they actually do have it in stock in stores. Only the switch version though, PS4 is still available online only.
@@420danmaynard oh wow thats crazy weird usually its the other way around with switch only having it online in the eshop or from some special retailer like limited games but that site every game is sold out as soon as it becomes available to purchase
Game looks great. I love pixel art. Especially in platforming or turn based. But I might pass on this. I guess it wasn't what I was hoping it'd be. Oh well
Also, can you review *Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix* ? I just discovered the game earlier today and played a demo of the previous one on my 3DS. The switch version looks way smoother and nicer and more detailed. And since this is a new Mercenaries game, I wanna know what it's like!

SwitchWatch -My ASS hurts!! I just came from Game Stop, only was going to pre order the Bendy game for the Switch and I walked out with Wild Guns for Switch as well as two 3DS games and 2 Wii games. Ouch!!

From all the things I've heard about the PC version, this seems a very fair score. I was hoping this was going to be a great game and something I'd play on the channel, but I think it'll be a more "for fun" game I play on the side once it goes on sale. It's a total shame that it never came out on day and date with the other systems, hopefully it'll do well and maybe we will see a sequel that'll improve on some of the more things that make is a little more meh than great.

Still haven't seen anyone compare the idea to Dragon Warrior 4, for a part of that game you basically are a shopkeeper who goes out after hours to earn money and gain items to sell so that you can eventually buy some good equipment.

It might call itself roguelike, but you just get bounced out of the dungeon if you die, it's not that bad.

Was it worth it?
While a neat concept, the roguelites with the risk vs reward theme is so overdone on the eshop. I'd rather see more unique games get spotlighted like Wandersong.
Fair enough buddy, certainly not for everyone and there are a lot of roguelikes to choose from.

Yeah it does, you can also put a portal in that lets you go back to a certain point but that costs even more
