I have found wearing high compression socks increases running proformance, increasing blood flow, reducing blood cell damage, preventing injuries, faster recovery, I would recommend these for runners, cyclists or walkers.
Jeff, thank you very much for uploading this video. I need to get some good quality running socks and I found this item very informative, and you put your insights across so well.
Great Video Content Jeff. It makes sense for me to invest in running socks that leave my feet dry and comfortable after walk/run and prevent blisters that have prevented me from enjoying brisk walk/runs in past. I just invested in some new minimalist sneakers for first time so needed socks and your video popped up! Thanks keep Up the Good Work!! Miss Identity
Really, really helpful. I just got my first pair of running shoes and it became obvious to me that socks would be a very important part of the system. I don't even want to hit the pavement without the right socks. Now I don't have to waste money (and skin) on trial and error. Thanks for listing the brands in the description!
I needed this video. I just picked up some new shoes (Infinity React Run) and they're so hot my feet were soaked in sweat by the end of a 4 mile run. I had just run in a storm the day before and my feet didn't get as wet 😅 ive been running in cotton socks, will have to pick up some feetures tomorrow
Hello there! I have been obsessed with this video so many helpful tips to know. I was just about to order some running socks! Do you think maybe you can make a video of essentials a runner needs/ essentials runners should have in there training bag like a roller etc?
I own a couple pairs of compression socks but I am not sure I am getting any additional benefit out of them? People who feet swell a lot during running like them to prevent blisters. I prefer calf sleeves myself when its cooler outside.
shandel cleary Choosing running socks is somewhat a personal preference. there are many good running socks out there, you usually know it by the price. I do love features. I have many pairs of them also I seem to go with swift wick and Bolega are some of my favorites
Wool is probably your best bet. There are many brands out there that make good wool running socks, Swiftwick, Smartwool, Wigwam, and Balega are just a few of them.
@@shandelcleary3246 They are cheaper where I am via pttoutdoor.com as compared to Feetures and Balega. Good socks are worth investing in, especially if you are prone to blisters like me as I have fat toes!
I check out the link you sent me, they have some great stuff. If you go on the Steiger site it’s act a bit cheaper! But thank you though, I love the site a ton of outdoor finds
Hey Jeff, nice vídeo. Your socks are so cool. In my country there aren't some of that socks. Have you thought about selling some of your socks that you don't wear anymore?
Also another important reason that I forgot to mention for the right and left specific socks is where the arch support is. The majority of the arch support in on the inside of your foot (or proper sock).
Could you please attach links to socks you review, because it will be really helpful in search for such items? Thank you for such an awesome instruction!
Just when I finally narrowed down what running shoes I want you hit me with this 😂 im overwhelmed by sock choices

Very helpful! Of all your reviews what sock would you recommend?? I’ve always wanted to try feetures

which pressure is recommended for running socks? im about to order some
Great points!
Awesome review, thank you. Which ones were the green ones that you were talking about thread count #7?
GOT .556 those are the Feetures high performance ultra light no shows @about $10. Thanks for your comment!!
Does compression gears really boost running performance?
That still hasn't been scientifically proven but for me I feel less fatigue, less soreness, and less blisters so you cant go wrong.
I always hated buying socks now its top priority.
what socks are good for when it's cold? All the "running" socks i see on amazon look like they're aimed at keeping your feet cool.
Wool is probably your best bet. There are many brands out there that make good wool running socks, Swiftwick, Smartwool, Wigwam, and Balega are just a few of them.
I'm all with Feetures and Steigen.
I’ve always wondered about steigen socks, so I take it that it’s totally worth it. They are just a little expensive

I can only afford running socks from Decathlon as a starting point lol.
The top back of your shoe doesn't rub on your skin with no show socks on?
Not if you buy a no-show with a heel tab on the back. Most running socks have them
Hey Jeff, nice vídeo. Your socks are so cool. In my country there aren't some of that socks. Have you thought about selling some of your socks that you don't wear anymore?
Thanks for the comment. I donate all my used running gear to my local running shop who provides them to people in need.
I will only wear Swiftwicks
Have you tried Rockays or Balegas?
