Can a Scout Ranger fight in the murky waters of Liguasan Marsh? Why do it the hard way? I would use the bridge. Video 7:27 shows a bridge. If the troops cross the river as shown in the video, the troops will be spread out and they will be sitting ducks when attacked by the enemy. Also, the equipment will be wet and subject to malfunction. You can waterproof some gear but it would be difficult to waterproof everything. Granted that the Rangers are in good physical shape but a wet uniform, wet shoes and wet gear add a lot of weight and it will affect their ability to fight effectively. How long can they sustain effective war fighting with a wet gear and uniform? I would have edited the video and removed the kid roaming around in the training area. It takes away the military professionalism shown in the video. He could be the intelligence officer or spy for the terrorists. 😂 My point is that kids are exploited by the terrorists. Just my opinion. Comment lang po Colonel. Nothing disrespectful.
This is not a military training video. This is for the general public, military and non-military alike. This is Colonel Cabunoc's personal vlog channel and not the Army's so no need to be too professional and military-strict. Also not all areas of the entire Liguasan Marsh have bridges.
