Most of my friend's are gay and many of them have gotten married. Believe it or not I have been asked some crazy questions. More than once I've been asked if it's a "real" priest. And what kind of gifts would do they get? So weird. IT'S A WEDDING! 😅
The most amazing thing about this skit is definitely the people in it, I mean these aren't scrubs playing these parts. They could have used anyone for this but 4-5 of them have been in major TV shows and movies.
This is supposed to take place in the early 90's. The TV was a dead giveaway. People were just starting to accept homosexuality. This family wasn't trying to be rude, they just legitimately didn't know. Its obviously exaggerated to be funny but that's how it was.
Internet was around in the early 90's as was Neil Patrick Harris. One of the actors actually says Doogie after they said his real name. Doogie Howser was the TV show he was on at that time.
You're the one,@@TheLegmann , who is insisting this takes place in the early '90s based solely on the TV the family has. When told of numerous things that are anachronistic to the '90s proving it's not taking place then, you default to "it's not a documentary"? Seriously?
Oh come on man u didn't get the skittles joke 😂😂 in weddings u throw rice but since it's a gay wedding they would be throwing skittles because the gay flag is all coloured
Love your reaction ♥️ When they were talking about gay songs, YMCA You need to react to song. It's a great song, popular in 70s . And of course Somewhere Over the Rainbow 🌈 has been a song from 1939, gays adopted as a song for hope, tolerance, freedom. Somewhere Over the Rainbow has been covered by many Artists...Judy Garland first sang in move Wizard of Oz 1939. Beautiful song YMCA watch live version. Fun 🎵 Enjoying your Channel 🤗
As a European I find it hilarious that he assumes that "gay presents" would be bought with Euros(€). That's great writing.
As a gay guy; ive seen this so many times. I laugh every time. Damn they did a good job . This one is classic lol
I love how the questions were not out of malice, but rather innocent ignorance.
As a middle aged lesbian, I find this sooo hilarious! I love Key and Peele.
S-T-E-R-E-O-T-Y-P-E C-I-T-Y To the Nth Degree! :)LOL(: I love the way Key & Peele strip away the BS and make us laugh at ourselves! :)

Love it! Fun to get a good laugh without everyone being so sensitive.

They referenced the internet and Neil Patrick Harris (who was still a child in the 80's) This is present day, but they're just old fashioned.

But the Euro didn't exist until 1999 and didn't begin circulating until 2002.
@jeffl9167 this was a tv skit, not a documentary. They got everything else right. Very few Americans would know or care when the Euro came out.

Key and peele are so funny lol. They have so many great skits. So does Portlandia! You have to check it out.
That was beyond hilarious!! Loved it!!
Lol Is RuPaul going to be there?!!!!!
The dude from The Wire was great.
This is before everyone got so soft… ridiculous!! 🤣
I think their best one was Substitute Teacher.
Tragically funny! I say that because I know some people who think like that. I just hope this skit shows people just how absurd they are.
😅
Does this guy that this is a comedy skit?
Oh come on man u didn't get the skittles joke 😂😂 in weddings u throw rice but since it's a gay wedding they would be throwing skittles because the gay flag is all coloured
They have a skit as 2 gay gang members. Another as office workers with gay stuff.
Love it! Can you do the substitute teacher sketch?
Love your reaction ♥️
