Agree about the "little signs that give away bad news". When I walked into that little room to get my results, there was a doctor, a nurse and a Macmillan nurse. As soon as I saw the Macmillan nurse, I knew. I'd had cancer before, as a child, so I knew. They said they'd never seen anyone react so calmly. I said, "well I know they don't bring in Macmillan nurses if it's benign".
