They turned broken compass into an ot8 song and it is so interesting how the lyrics changed. It is called Mixtape 4 in the skz version. Same with For you (Mixtape 3), Even Shadows need light to exist (Mixtape 2), Placebo (Mixtape 1), Hoodie Season (Mixtape 5) and Double Knot.
Chan is using his growling voice often on stage ... that's hilariously good. I love it so much. That's why I love the live performances more than the records

I am forever trying to enlighten people who say 3RACHA is the producing line, not the rap line as Chan is not a rapper, he's a vocalist.
This man is multi-talented and has so much to do and as a leader wants his boys to shine.
Just because my children are all over 18 doesn't make me any less of a mother. Just because Chan encourages his members to shine doesn't make him any less of a talent when it comes to rapping.
I call it the producing line bc other members in the group are officially rappers.

@Melted Gouda just good for thought, when they perform as 3Racha, they are not showcasing their producing skills but rather their RAP skills.
Just the fact that they all were still teenagers when they have produced and recorded these songs. Anyway, the Broken Compass is also called Mixtape #4 which made 3 Racha song to a Stray Kids song. All the Stray Kids members contributed writing the lyrics, and the MV is shot in Sydney. I’m sure you are gonna love to see still young Stray Kids in Sydney. There is also a song called BOXER and the MV is also shot in a park in Sydney.

Chan is a music genius, well all of 3Racha are, but Chan is the foundation of Stray Kids and without him they would not exist (I can’t even fathom that!) That’s why we love Chan. His work ethic in incredible, and his love for his group is immeasurable.
Oh. I think you would love Mirror Mirror, by F-Hero & Milli featuring Changbin. Changbin goes off in it. Someone counted, and he changed flows 16 times in his segment, AND he recorded it all in one take.
As Chan has always been good at everything since debut, sometimes I feel like we forget to appreciate his performance sometimes and only focus on his leadership!

Chan is amazing! I love his vocal tone the most because i feel like i hear the emotion most in his singing. Even though its a softer emotional song, i think you’d really love Chan’s “Hate to Admit”. That more than any other song you can hear the emotion in chans voice when he sings!
For some information: "Broken compass" was transformed to their group song by the title "Mixtape #4" by all 9 members. Same goes to their mixtapes 1-5. It is old 3racha's songs that had some differences from original ones. Then after Wojin left, they again redone some parts of that song.
They also have an ot8 version that they renamed back to Broken Compass
There’s also an ot8 version of broken compass where the song sounds more polished and they took things out and added things (if you don’t want to be spoiled don’t read more) also when Chan says 6 years and 2011 he changed it to a year and to 2018. To me it’s so heartwarming because he started to be a trainee in 2011 so his struggle started back then but he changed the song to the year of their debut as if his new beginning is as a group.
fun fact about 3racha: when they first debuted in skz they were writing and producing 3-4 songs a day and even up to 10 sometimes. as they said, producing was (and still is) their whole life and they'd often forget to sleep for days bc of it, but they all still loved it. even now when they've slowed down the making of songs, chan spends all his free time producing

Many of 3racha songs got released later as Mixtape with all members. I totally LOVE the Broken Compass with all members. The vibe is just PERFECT.

in old days reminders that HAN was 16 CHANGBIN was 17 and CHAN was 19. you should react to one of my favorites of theirs “Double knot” and “Matryoshka” both again rapping ones and pre debut ones but very good.

If anyone is being slept on it is Changbin. I feel like Han gets the spotlight the most out of the three. Changbin has been getting more attention this past year I feel while Chan seems happy to stand back and let everyone else shine. I really like when they do solo songs and unit songs to let everyone have their moment.

Thank you for Chan appreciation. Though you say people sleep on Chan, I believe he’s the second biased member in the group. Han is the 5th biased and Changbin being the 7th biased. This is just the last statistics I’ve seen, but it’s actually Changbin out of 3racha who is being slept on. I hope I’m wrong though, they all deserve so much love and credit!!
Late reply but the ranking you mention mostly comes from visual stans who are kids. There are a lot of them. But Chan being underappreciated is true, if you pay attention, people rarely praise his singing or other talents, all stays talk about is his personality and body. It's to the point that nonstays don't know he's in the vocal line. Nor they (stays) talk about his tracks when he makes them mostly, for the other members' solo songs etc. Changbin and Han do get praised for their talents all the time which is what actually matters right? I hope Chan gets recognized for his talents more as well.

i LOVE your reaction omg. you always notice the tiny details in their voices and ofc, when u simp for chan its always so fun XD skz have some of the sickest bars. you dont comment on their lyrics much so im curious on your thoughts abt them! also yes, Han is naturally good, thats such a nice way to put it. changbin said he takes some time to write his rap verses because hes so technical perhaps? but han writes his verses really quickly ((and theyre so good) so hes considered a lyrical genius

u should watch the 2017 live performance of runners high, its really cool. it’s a pre-debut performance so it was before stray kids, and they r all super young in it. like han would have been the youngest and im pretty sure he was 16 at the time. its just crazy how talented they were even back then. and tbh i feel like runners high is one of those songs where the studio recording goes hard, but it goes even harder live. like the energy the boys bring to the song is fuckin awesome.

Han has so many voices in him and it switched quickly. Changbin always punches. Chan just flies around tbh. Flexes vocally, music production, and references he make. 1 is the 8 member version and the other one is the 9 member version which is specifically a street version. it is basically a music video shot on the streets of Australia and its just the boys having fun and goofing around.
there are some other music videos as street versions too, you'll find them if you type stray kids street version on youtube!!
Broken Compass was later turned into a Stray Kids song, it also has a video (not really an MV but arguably better than an MV ahaha) you can find it under the name " "Mixtape#4" Video (Street Ver.)" they later released a version without their former member with the original name "Broken Compass" but I really recommend you watching the video cuz it's so funny.

I'm not that far ahead of you in my learning about Stray Kids. I don't have favourites yet, they change constantly. But Chan is always up there.

I'd suggest looking into the difference between 3RACHA broken compass and OT8 broken compass (Mixtape#4). The lyrics in Chan's part are different and seeing the different meaning they have just hits right in the feels.

been watching your reaction to skz' stuff these past weeks, and thank you so much for your numerous support to them. but, i hope this comment of mine can be taken as constructive feedback to you. so, since within a day, i could probably watch 2-3 vids from your channel, something that is a bit disturbing to me while watching your vid is the amount of time you paused the vids that youre reacting to. i guess, it's totally okay if you paused it every one chores of a song that youre reacting to instead of pausing it every two secs for you to talk about their singing skills, then rewind it and paused it again to talk about the lyrics and other stuff. i guess, it'll be much more effective to discuss those things later after the song ended or do a second reaction to focus on discussing things on the video and let ur first reaction as your first impression towards the whole song/video. or maybe just simply pause it after a few more seconds instead of pausing and rewinding the videos every 2-5 seconds in. overall, your insights, opinions, or impressions of all the skz' stuff are truly fun to watch, but it was just the pausing that's a bit off to me since i can watch your reaction video more than once at a time :)
