Another cursory comment. The reason why MJ’s PPG is so high is primarily because his Assists Per Game is dismal. While Bron is number 1 in points, he is simultaneously top 5 in assists (he’s number 4). Do you know what Jordan is? # 52. That’s why Jordan won all those scoring titles and why his PPG is so high, he couldn’t score AND assist at the elite level. But that’s OK. It’s not just Jordan couldn’t do it. No other player has been able to be in the top 5 all time in BOTH categories. No one else except, you guessed it, LeBron James. So the next time you wanna talk about how great Jordan’s PPG was, instead you should just say “one trick pony”.

MJ is player that didn't need to move away from the club that drafted him just to finally win some titles. MJ also won 3 of his first titles while playing on a team with only 2 superstars that was nowhere near to be called a superteam. LeBron moved to Miami, formed a superteam with 3 full fledged superstars of the league and EVEN THEN he FAILED MISERABLY in 2011 and 2014. Then LeBron formed another superteam in Cleveland and again failed miserably. Won only one title, barely. Then AGAIN LeBron formed ANOTHER superteam with the Lakers and surprise, surprise, he failed MISERABLY yet AGAIN. Got only the bubble title out of all the seasons with the Lakers. 😅😅😅😅 LeBron is barely a top 5 player. BARELY. Cause i am not so sure about it. And let's not even talk about the toughness and clutch factor of the MJ (or Larry Bird) vs LeBron. Let's not even go there. 😂😂😂😂 @@santosonly7

For all of those gawking at PPG and scoring titles, have you ever considered the primary reason Jordan’s PPG is so high is because he simply couldn’t Score AND assist at the elite level? (Jordan is #52 in all time assists) not a typo, #52😮. In other words Jordan could only do one or the other. He wasn’t good enough to do BOTH at the elite level. But that’s ok. There is no player in the entire history of the NBA that has been able to be BOTH top 5 points and assist … except 1, yup LeBrun Jaaaaames.

Kobe was just lucky he get to plaly with Shaq and be on the Lakers. Otherwise, he'll play backup to all star Glen Rice. Oh wait, you'd expect the Lakers to sit their allstar 2 guard Eddie Jones. Kobe was 13th pick. Maybe blame him for not getting drafted 7 picks early.

But there are also a lot of players that played past 15 seasons who are not in the top 20. So longevity alone is not the main driver here. Especially in the top 5, sustained elite level of play is responsible. Jordan is number 5, Bron is number 1. You can’t discount the points achieved by the player was able to sustain elite level Of play because the other player was unable to continue accumulating points. The guy that is ABLE is always greater than the guy who is UNABLE.
