But there are also a lot of players that played past 15 seasons who are not in the top 20. So longevity alone is not the main driver here. Especially in the top 5, sustained elite level of play is responsible. Jordan is number 5, Bron is number 1. You can’t discount the points achieved by the player was able to sustain elite level Of play because the other player was unable to continue accumulating points. He's also the only one to lose 6 finals.
@ it appears you don’t know basketball history among many other things. The NBA logo Jerry West was 1-8 in NBA Finals but most people with basketball knowledge understands that winning NBA Finals is a team accomplishment not an individual accomplishment, but for some reason they now want to make an individual accomplishment as if a single player can win the championship. The best team wins the championship not the best player.
@StevenC32 yep you miss playoffs, you exit 1st 2nd round, lose CF that should all count losing in the Finals too! I mean how is it better to lose ECF than making/losing in the Finals.
So Calvin Murphy wore a helmet?
@@stakknation123 yes he did a few games returning from a concussion
@DiscoveRanQ Them some real soldiers back then. Respect!
All the MJ fanatics in the comment section Glazing their idol and butthurt LeBron passed him up on the scoring list in his 12th season.
At least LeBron didn’t run from the game to go play baseball he’s different than MJ truly one of a kind. 🐐 10 Scorinf titles is insane though but what you expect MJ is the best scorer of alltime that was his specialty not surprised just seeing his fanatics glaze that is wild. 😂😂
LeBron has more games more seasons and a better shooting FG% than Jordan alltime is insane and his specialty isn’t even scoring yikes LeBron is different. 🐐🐐🐐
Dude just stop it. The nba didn’t start in 2001. Don’t ever put LaQueen in a goat sentence ever. It’s not even close.

Fun fact: Kareem got all his points with 2s. And MJ is top 5 with about 7 seasons less than everyone else. 😂. The fact people leap frog Kareem and go straight to Lebron for a debate is disgraceful
@@sij809 yep and kareem already had a 50 greatest career before he got to Lakers 👍
I mean if you Have Kareem over Lebron is fine with me but LeBron does have more FMVP’s and more finals appearances than Kareem and passed him on the scoring list. So it’s a give or go.
@BlessedOrri kareem has a dpoy, and is top 3 in scoring, rebounds and blocks and has more mvps. Very give and go
To bad alot of these great players played in the aba
Yep, NBA didn't count ABA stats but that's understandable.
Does everyone know when Kareem known as lew alcinder back in the day was so dominant in college they outlawed the dunk that's why he developed the sky hook

@ Malone got a 13 year old pregnant when he was 20. His son played in the NFL. LeBron likes Diddy Parties.
Kobe rxpe thing doesn't help, but I know she was older than 15.
MJ had 10 scoring is crazy
@@helmipras6177 yep including all champ years. He won 4 of his MVP too in that span. So yes individual play translating to winning (or is it the other way around?)
For all of those gawking at PPG and scoring titles, have you ever considered the primary reason Jordan’s PPG is so high is because he simply couldn’t Score AND assist at the elite level? (Jordan is #52 in all time assists) not a typo, #52😮. In other words Jordan could only do one or the other. He wasn’t good enough to do BOTH at the elite level. But that’s ok. There is no player in the entire history of the NBA that has been able to be BOTH top 5 points and assist … except 1, yup LeBrun Jaaaaames.
@@santosonly7 yep LeBron sees the court differently or not the same as other players. And he shows up! He showed for that 18th, 19th, 20th season and he showed up in the Finals in those 6 finals loses 👍
@@DiscoveRanQ You musta not known, Finals are won by teams. That’s why your GOAT could only win when playing under the best team on his era (Scottie’s Bulls) but then failed to even qualify for 1 conference finals (worse than losing a Finals) 100% of the time.
@santosonly7 💯💯💯
@@DiscoveRanQ Just reread your comment. I initially misunderstood your point. My bad. Got it now. 👍🏾
Kobe did not play 20 season its was his contract ,maybe its 16 seasons only, spent his 1st 2 yrs off the bench, that counted as played games very limited minutes compare to lbj,and mj,he also played his 8 yrs with shaq, and we knew what happened in his last 3 seasons
@@ArisTalion yes there were challenging years!
Wait I just checked, Kobe was drafted 13th overall by a 53-win Lakers team. Teams looking for franchise cornerstone passed on him. Kobe was just lucky he get to plaly with Shaq and be on the Lakers. Otherwise, he'll play backup to all star Glen Rice. Oh wait, you'd expect the Lakers to sit their allstar 2 guard Eddie Jones. Kobe was 13th pick. Maybe blame him for not getting drafted 7 picks early.
@ obviously u don’t have knowledge about history,Kobe was drafted by the hornets not lakers,he was traded to the lakers that night, same yr shaq traded to the lakers from magic, this is my only reply to u fake, pretending expert,u don’t deserve my knowledge,,,I think ur 15 yrs old below

Yeap but he retired 3 years to go play baseball and save his finals record from being undefeated MJ knew what he was doing he was to chicken to play his full career like LeBron. Wanted to save his legacy LeBron could never quit basketball to play baseball he’s too savage for that. 🐐🤮🤮
Accumulative stats pointless....mediocre players ahead of legends due to up to double the seasons played.
@@D.A.P_100 Yep, especially those who played in a winning system. But the greats do appear at the top most.
The guy that is ABLE is always greater than the guy who is UNABLE.
