      ​@@trevorhannon900 But a true baritone can sing even higher than Zlatopolsky could comfortably. Many baritones may start out not hitting anything above C4 in chest when they begin singing, but they will be expected to eventually hit a G4 note just fine with enough practice. Of course almost no baritones will be hitting a G4 all the time 24/7 when singing unlike many tenors, but they can go higher than we often think they can. Of course, don't get me wrong, for an extremely low-pitched basso profondo like Zlatopolsky an E4/F4 is very impressive. Other basso profondos would have struggled a lot more with those notes I think. But it's still nothing compared to an actual baritone.

    I was looking for a cd with that recording, but couldn`t find anything. Zlatopolski even doesn´t have a German Wikipedia entry.

    Looks like jewish/ukraininian general or soldier. This singing is a great soul remedy.
