That one comment shows her entire motivation. She is abusive and seeking power/control of the child. It’s horrifying.
Edit: I’m a mental health therapist and specialized in DV and advocate for victims who are getting orders of protection. It is RARE a judge grants a plenary order of protection, so if she got an OP for three years there was evidence.

Ladies. When you meet a man, if his relationship with his mother is to the level where he would disrespect you to please his mother, you will never be the number one person in his life even if you have his child.
He will run to his mother when he argues with you, and she will not defend you against him.

Im so glad Judge Judy saw through this mother and even the people in this comment section... my heart goes to this girl because I experienced the exact same thing from my mother....
The world tears you apart in traumatic ways and the one thing that should be there for you for support is family...
To deal with the trauma from the world.. relationship partners... and then your own mother.... is tragic...
I knew the mother was no good when the daughter said the mother invited the daughter's estranged husband to where she was living.
If anyone with common sense knows, it's dangerous to do this. What if this man would've killed her.. or their child.. any real mother would never want to endager their daughter's life if you truly love and care for your daughter.
The mother is bitter and unhappy and wants to exert toxic authority and torment over her daughter's life...
You'll make it through. May God Bless you 🙏🏽❤️

I know this woman’s other granddaughter. The reason the granddaughter lives here in Georgia is because she wants nothing to do with the woman.

I am a mother in law... I love my daughter in law like my own daughter! She and my son have a 6 month old little boy. They are incredibe parents and I'm there often with my grandson. My dil and I, love each other very much! We laugh and talk like best friends! I can't even understand having a battle like this with her! Shame on this woman! Even though her son and dil are getting divorced she shouldn't get in the middle of that! That's not her business!! She should stay neutral and maintain a relationship with her because at the end of the day she is the mother to her grandchild!

How close does she want to be to her “son” where she actually calls her granddaughter her “daughter”?

I loved my inlaws (may they both rest in peace). In fact, my father-in-law threw hubby under the bus on an occasion or two. He was such a character. Lol.
