    They could but I doubt it for several reasons. The addition of several Pac 12 teams. The Osu QB is worse than Kyle McCord. They still haven't fixed their OL issue. Only additions is a RB similar to Henderson and a Freshman WR. Last but not least they still have Ryan Day. Big time choker. I see Osu finishing the season after CFP defeat. 10-3 or 11-3 if they can get into the B10 game.

    UM had a special group of kids come through AA now its over. Congrats to our rivals UM now has one of the worst head coaches in the big ten. I dont buy hes 4-0 with JH practices n gameplans. Moore had the worst performance of the first 3 interim head coach games and it wasnt close. Mike hart got screwed he did the best as HC against UNLV and got passed by. UM offense wasnt even that good plus its JHs side of the ball so not even sure why everyone loves Moore except hes a good oline coach and cried on tv. Minter is a far superior coach but thats why JH took him with him, hes not going to leave anyone he cant replace in AA he wants a superbowl ring. At least we had a few good years because were back to mediocre michigan 8-4 losing to our rivals. Im a huge UM fan so i hope im wrong but i doubt it. No pay to play, bad nil plus unproven boring offensive head coach =Moore losses. Theres 15-25 better choices for top recruits now over UM, more$ better coaching, fun offenses. Hart would of been a better choice but they really should have ran a national coaching search then picked the best coach but thats what good ADs do not Warde

    So the question beckons: given the changes in the 12 team playoff... Does Ryan Day get to lose in Columbus this year, even if OSU makes the playoff?

    • @throgmortonartstudio2402

      uh no and there is no reason to think he will.

    • @DeshCanter
      @DeshCanter 5 месяцев назад +1

      Yes.
      One reason why Ohio State is keeping Day is because with the 12-team playoff he no longer has to beat Michigan to win the conference and the National Championship.
      Let’s face some hard facts.
      Despite Michigan’s great year with a great team, that team was built to beat Ohio State. Being as good as they were they could play with anyone, mostly because of defense, and so the NC was doable. Ohio State, on the other hand, is designed to score and win shootouts. It’s almost a given that few if any teams moving forward will go undefeated out of the Big10 and the SEC. Because of this and the structure of the playoff, rivalry games have lost their “kingmaker” power. In ten years, it will be: “Remember when you had to beat Ohio State to have a shot at the national title?”
      “Yeah, we used to look forward to those games.”
      College football is now just a daycare for burgeoning NFL talent. Teams outside the top 25 are literally irrelevant moving forward and you’ll see a sharp decline in attendance.
      It’s sad, really.
      That said, Ryan Day will win 10+ conference games every year and make the playoff, and the only teams he’ll struggle with are tough physical teams that can get in his backfield and keep his offense off the field. That will only describe 1 or 2 programs in the country. He’ll be able to outscore all the rest via his basketball on grass style of play.

  • @David-zv6oy
    @David-zv6oy 5 месяцев назад

Only team in last 100+ years to NOT have a team score more than 24 points, 4th. No National Championship team ever had to win half their schedual without their HC (Last 3 games they most difficult part of their schedule). 5th. It’s not all his fault, any talented player we get leaves early for NBA. But I am very disappointed with this team and don’t see a quick fix anytime soon. The only other good news is that the buckeyes aren’t sniffing a natty in basketball anytime soon either

With that in mind, everyone should have learned a lesson from michigan by now. It doesn't matter what players come into the program what matters is the coaching staff you have. Michigan kill the CFP with mostly 3 and 4 stars and made them into 5 stars 🌟. That's what we do and been doing.

      @@brianmeyers9102 if that is what you want believe my Buckeye friend, but to the casual eye..it doesn’t pass the sniff test. First, Harbaugh has been testing NFL waters last 3 years before this investigation. You guys said he was trying to escape after getting his first win in 21’ and he came back to beat you twice more..2nd time in an embarrassing fashion.
      Regarding the clause, I believe he knows the ncaa is after him personally and even let’s say if he had nothing to do with CS scheme they will give him maximum penalty. He wants to make sure MI doesn’t fire him.
      The important question you should ask yourself is why does MI and its attorneys offer Harbaugh the largest contract for a college coach if they knew he had anything to do with the “vast network”. You know MI attorneys are in the room with the NCAA investigators and have access to all communication, transactions, and witnesses questions. Plus the NCAA president came out and said MI won the NC fair and square. This would lead one to believe that Harbaugh personally was not involved.
      Finally, the investigation is being conducted by the NCAA..thats all that needs to be said!

    I’d rather keep Jesse Minter as HC between him and Moore and it’s not remotely close. I mean, I’d love Moore as HC for Michigan, but between the two, Minter makes a bigger impact. The identity of this team is punishing defense and that’s where you have the most returning players. Minter is a very special football mind. Like, supremely unique football mind. Moore is a very good coach. But if it’s between unique/special and good, I’ll take unique every day.
    The reality is, though, Minter will leave with Harbaugh of Harbaugh goes to the league. I don’t even know if Michigan offering him the HC gig would trump being the DC in the NFL with a coach you know and trust. Plus, if he has his sights on being a HC one day, it was already mentioned earlier in the show how you don’t want to be the guy to follow the guy.
