that was so cool. to sit here and watch this, and say. I was there. too bad 9010 was under a tarp when I wandered around the yard. great show, not as good as your last 2, but comes in close third. lol. Hunter running after the train, I think if he had 100 more feet he could of caught it.
I work for union pacific as a locomotive engineer I have been with up for little over 20 years I would like to rail fan with you guys sometimes I live in utah and I have been a model railroader all my life I consider my self lucky no to many people get to work there dream career
Love this episode! Not sure if you noticed, but did you all of a sudden hear the sirens right after your zipper move? I can't believe we didn't go to jail! lol
I mean it looks good( the Krauss Maffei, but it's a shame it's not running under its own power. These locomotives were diesel-hydraulics, meaning no main alternator or traction motors powering the axles. I would very much like to hear one actually running in real life (be there to witness it) I was too young when the SP & Rio Grand had a few of these running(in the late 60's?) Had one in HO scale as a kid, didn't know much about em at the time..
That shot at 15:00 with the wig wag: Excellent!!
I get it right sometimes!

PS 4014 was in town this week. With crowds.
Isn't one of the Maybachs working?
Nope. The one that was working has been getting work done on it. It will work eventually. but it wasn't working at the time this video was made.
Who is the guy wearing the massive wig and hat in the green tee-shirt?
I think that's Yo.
Hunter is worth negative ransom
That has got to be the ugliest locomotive I have ever seen. YUCK!!!!!!
Much better than the n scale drivel. But that's just me.
A lot of folks like the N scale stuff!
