Mirror is so fun to use no matter the game, the fact that you have complete invulnerability to most boss attacks for 10 seconds and can be recharged immediately is so good, plus said shield comes out on frame 1

The color changing was only in Super Star Ultra. He never did change colors on gaining abilities before or after that game, with some exceptions.
