Mostyn's fine....but why harbor such animus toward Bierstadt?

Thank you for introducing me to Klien, with his effortless voicing and poignant, intimate rendition of the Intermezzo. Excellent recording

His Mozart Violin Sonatas with Arthur Grumiaux violin are amongst the finest of those pieces.

A lovely upload, with some recordings that I hadn't heard before. One correction if I may, the name of the Austrian pianist is Walter Klien, not Klein. :-)

Oops, don't know how that got misspelled. Corrected now, thanks!

According to Alexander Skrjabin's 'clavier à lumière' means red---> C and green---> A! - ..and now, nice to know that you even play better the piano. ;)

Wish I could suggest some good pieces for F# Minor, maybe a Chopin prelude or a Scriabin or a Rachmaninoff prelude.

Klien is superb.....but....THE BEST is still Pogorelić...with his mesmerizing excruciatingly slow tempi.....reduces a grown warehouseman to tears.....I'm jus sayin
