Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

@@osmium7738 Letsbe real,90% of allForts player wouldent have done much better. This is the equivelant of a silver CS player going for a relaxed game of casual and then being destroyed by S1mple himself
@@yoschiannik8438 Lol, it was definitely very unbalanced, but I think these were brand new players, Just look at middle base, wtf is going on there? Front base places an exposed repair module in response to getting hit, And rear's mine placement is bizarre. Moderately experienced players would've at least lived long enough to fight back.

My favorite thing is that core explosions don't just flashbang the entire screen.
That’s a setting btw. Not a mod. Go to your in game settings and disable “full screen reactor flash”
@@sebkuip I think it was part of the game without the option to turn it off at one time (for a pretty long time if I'm not mistaken). I don't recall if it was a thing from the very start though.
@@deucedeuce1572 Indeed it's a newer setting but it's been around for quite a while
@@sebkuip Cool. Thanks. Good to know they added that as an option. Wasn't a big fan of the entire screen being whited out, because it really interfered with gameplay.
Incursus had a 5/5 core kill streak in just two games and it looked so easy!
Ooh, big fan of the shaders mod. Haven't watched a vid in a while, so those new explosions and lasers were a pleasant surprise.

its very nice seeing simple matches of forts again, im not a fan of watching the tournament casting so stuff like this is a nice breath of fresh air, watching old videos gets boring after a minute

@@fireblow6842 He's mostly been doing spectating on tournaments and whatnot, at least the recent videos I've seen
Hilariously this attempt at gatekeeping what a "real forts video" is doesn't actually cut the mustard.
There is a small subset of people who are easily confused and can't tell when incursus will be playing himself or spectating by the name of the video.
And at leasy one of them apparently also struggles with real forts videos being real forts videos regardless of who is playing.
They tried the "actual gameplay" route a few videos ago and seem yo have decided to stray even further from any logic

Hey Incursus! Love the shaders, just would recommend turning off the shake for when you do the awesome upclose of the destruction of the core.
I don't think that's possible, the up close parts are just slowed down replays

These videos are just so much better than the streams or spectator matches in my opinion. The chat interaction in streams is boring and distracts you most of the time. Most of the spectator matches are just repetitive. There's just something about you, forts and no distractions that makes a great video.
6:07 has to be one of the coolest things I've seen in Forts! I wish they had survived past that

I like the new explosions, but feel like the screen shake when a core detonates is a bit much
I believe it's some mod or similar, not the official game. He has a link to the shader in the description so
at least you arent blinded with the mod when a core explodes

Thanks, i think ill reduce it. But yeah, the reactor flash strength is halved in the mod, so it might actually be worth using.

Hey i did join in During the free Weekend but theres even outside of the game a lot of stuff
With all the mods you apparently can activate etc
Just wantet to ask what are some things i should look into since the default map pool seems kinda limitet and i have no idea about the mooding scene around forst
As for all the additional weapons etc you guys have i assume thats due to you owning dlc?
all weapons here were vanilla/dlc, and as for maps, just join people's lobbies and download the ones they play or suggest
