Fitting bucket seats in the Mazda MX5

- In this video i fit a set of Sparco bucket seats into the Mk2.5 Mazda MX5.
The seats came with rails already attached so it was a pretty straight forward swap over which was nice but then soon realised that it hadn't altered the seating position like i had hoped.

New seats look boss! :)
Thanks mate, really happy with them. I think if i can get them to sit a little bit lower they'll be perfect 👌
Great video and channel 🤙🏻🤙🏻
It looks perfectly fit in your NB, I wonder which model of the bucket seats you're using with and does it have red colour? Thanks
Seats look awesome buddy, shame they didn't make any difference this time around but once you get the seat rail & harness bar then I reckon you'll be laughing. Looking good though. 😊👍
Thanks mate, looking forward to the new bracket arriving. I think once that's in it might actually be quite comfortable 😁
Free snacks :D
Are these the tallest buckets u could find???
I need those silver metal mounts you have on the seats that’s connected to the rails, where can I get these from please
They're from Cybul
I can’t see them on there sorry do you have a link pls
What model of seats are these
Nice seats, what’s the company with the lowered frames called again????
Thanks mate.
They're called Cybul, they do some pretty cool parts for the MX5. Think i might get the harness bar from them as well.

@@LeadFootash23 Ah nice, I'll go check them out as some lowered seats would benefit me no end. Had a look at mx5 parts today and they have a cage with a harness bar inbuilt. Might be worth stretching to a full cage????
@@SFJCreative i have considered a full cage. I'd just like to sit in one that has one fitted first just to see how much it compramises the space.
That would be the best option though.
LeadFoot TV that’s a good point tbh, I’d also like to sit in one, but as I’m a bit shorter I’m hoping I’ll be alright with a helmet on etc with the lowered subframes. If I do decide to get one I’ll swing by and you can test it if you fancy 👍🏼
Never use sliders, mount seat to the floor, if you want lowest possible position.
I swapped it on to fixed mounts a few weeks later.
It's just the seats came with the slide mounts and it was still much better than the original seats
I’m 6’5” I need help😅
