I bought a low milage 1250FA last year. With a few minor mods to the air box etc and a flash Im getting 121hp and 90ftlb torque at the back wheel. I also fitted a quickshifter. Makes for a great machine.
Fine looking machine my friend. I just picked up a 2007 1250 a few days ago. It has 36k miles and runs like a charm, love it so far. I also have a '97 bandit 1200 and a '02 busa and a 2012 cbr 250 (selling the 250 to just about pay for the 1250). I hope you get some good weather to enjoy your bike.
Sorry forgot to say I love the colour of your Bandit with fairing and centre stand (that's a compliment, the Bandit 1250 is a tree stump puller and bulletproof reliable to boot). Mines a Gun metal Grey 2014 model.
Can't help not to notice the right oxford handlebar heater is wrongly mounted.Probably swaped when installed . Fantastic bike.I have a 2006 naked abs oilcooled.
Good we have the metric system in Germany, as we can hit the limiter already at 1000km, just where you are right now. ;-) I own the same bike and love it but the first thing I changed was the exhaust, no bike deserves a chimney like this stock one. Greetings!
Hi there! Where did you buy the radiator-cooler thing or whats the name of the manufactorer? We dont have such things in germany....great bike! Like the color.
Hi there... I bought the radiator cover from eBay, the manufacturer is Beowolf. You can order with international shipping on most eBay items so you should be able to get one delivered to Germany... good luck and have a great weekend :-)
very nice. I have the same bike in silver (2010). I do love it. only had mine 2 months. do u have any links for the phone holder and USB charger. I liked them mods. Means I can use Google maps too. 😊
Matthew Jackson Hi there...I'll have a nosey at the weekend to see if the parts are still on my eBay purchase history... just away at the moment so no access to the PC. Glad to hear you are enjoying your new bike ... truly an awesome machine which is not controlled by computers but by the rider ! I'll be in touch.....cheers.
Matthew Jackson sorry the ebay transactions are too old... I can see them but both are no longer active listing. If you do an eBay search there are plenty of alternatives.... good luck 😊🖒
I may get one though for food deliveries and daily driver to work. But that 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 ABS is also tempting. I have a Prius PHV that is pretty much a compromise between a gokart and comfortable daily driving. I am so torn between the two-2011 Suzuki GSX1250FA and 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 ABS. Classic vs Modern. It's like choosing between that dorky geek woman and a modern woman who like to go night clubbing. Help me choose please.
I'd vote for the bandit. It's a big friendly lump you can be really lazy with. Despite the large amount of low end torque and capacity for speed, it is very docile. This is not to knock the Ninja or other small displacement bikes. Getting the most performance you can out of smaller machines can be a hoot. Their bigger variants (the 600cc and litre bikes) take that to the next level. But consider this: it's 10:30PM at the end of a long day. It's been raining, and the weather's either too cold or too hot to be called comfortable. And you're facing an hour-long ride home. Bikes like the Bandit will effortlessly haul you home. You don't have to play "row row row your gearbox gently down the street," or have an edgy machine that's still demanding full attention when you'd rather be elsewhere already. If that sounds like you, choose the Bandit. If the above scenario is rare and you want a machine that handles great, choose the Ninja.
I have the same bike with Oxford heated grips, how did u get the end caps on without messing up throttle return, when I tried to put the end caps on, the throttle would not return
Robert Parisi Hi there..... the heated grips were fitted by the dealer when I bought the bike so not sure how they did it to be honest.... there's quite a few 1250 owners commented on my 2 videos so maybe you could ask them for help.... hope you get fixed up and ride safe.
My appention with Bandits, ( cause that's what this bike is with different name ) is the naked is great & this one is great. I think the half fairing looks horrible. Ruins a nice looking bike. As for practicality. The full fairing wins. More protection & cuts through the air & wind better.
MAPSME is far better than Google Maps on the phone. You download the country or region onto the app and then use the phones GPS. The whole world is covered. I used MAPSME in Thailand on a 125 Scooter I hired, toured the whole country over a month. I also use the phone app on my own 2014 GSX1250 in the UK. MAPSME app is the Which Magazines Best Free navigation tool it beat Google Maps hands down and hasn't the privacy implications of a Google App (Google spy's and captures data without you realising).
The birds singing in the trees sounds cozy and harmonizes what you show us!
What a great bike. What a monster of an engine. What a cool design - modern classic. What a bargain. Congrats to you. Nice upgrades by the way.
One of the Suzuki models that I always liked. :)

wow. Nice bike. I like the addons you added to the bike. That Puig chainguard is something I will look into and maybe the radiator guard too.
I've a 2016 model arriving this morning... the excitement 🎉🎉🎉🎉😅

Great video, I have one, consider the following. Painting the bolts , nuts and brightwork with clear laquer to keep it bright and fit a scotoiler.

Bandit SUPERBIKE, Never Before A True'r Word written, said ?.
Where did you get the lovely luggage rack?
It was the stock fitting from Suzuki, it's a bit old school but so is the bike I suppose!
Not sure if the GSX FA is still a bandit.
Used to be GSF SA

Cut the rubber down
The instructions should say that you can cut the length down by a certain amount to make them fit.
Just want to know if the SEMI fairing is the same with FULL fairing ?..any difference ?
