Precautions
"1. Measure the installation area and plan an extra 10% of panels for waste and matching.
2. Before installation, please read the installation instruction carefully.
3. The wall strength should not be lower than the concrete strength(C20). Make sure the base wall are level, clean ,smooth and moisture-free.
4. The moisture content of wall ≤ 8%. Dehumidification or moisture-proof measures are required when necessary.
5. During installation, the indoor temperature should be around 10°C-25°C, and construction should not be performed below 5°C and above 30°C."
Acclimation
Place the SPC wall panels in the room where you will install it for at least 24-hour acclimation.
Wall Base Treatment
Use a laser level to check the flatness of the wall.
Flatness deviation ≤ 2mm/m2
Verticality deviation ≤ 2mm/m2
3 Base Wall Treatments (uneven)
"1. Install the wood boards.
2. Install wooden wall framing with 300mm interval between wooden strips.
3. Finished with cement."
Start
This video uses method 1 to install wood board as an example.
This method is relatively the most common and convenient. SPC wall panels are also easier to install and less prone to errors in installation.
Install the Wood boards
Use an air nail gun and screws to attach the wood boards to the wall.
Planning and Marking
Plan ahead on the wall where the panels will be installed and mark them with chalk or pencil.
Structural Adhesive
The Strips of adhesive are placed 5 cm from the edge of the panel. Each adhesive point is 10~20 cm apart.
Iaying the Panels
Laying the wall panel along the marked lines.
Clips
Fit the clips into the protruding groove, then screw it on to each beam with the aid of a wood screw.
Click and Lock
Hold the panel at a 20°-30° angle to the wall and insert the tongue into the groove.
Cutting
Measure and cut to size to fill the end of the entire wall.
Internal Corner
The internal corner trim fits into the corner of a wall and joins two panels together where each panel meets the corner.
External Corner
The external corner trim fits around the corner of a wall and joins two panels together where each panel meet.
Near a door or window
Cut the wall panels to the shape and size of the door or window.
Finishing Touches
Many finishing elements can be used, such as skirting board or plaster coving.
