    This is why Jon is such a great person. Not many big names are willing to have these heroes on to discuss stuff so personal to them. And every single time you can tell Jon is genuinely moved and appreciative. Thank you Jon for giving these heroes a spotlight, you’re a true legend

      Yes, no question about it. I whole heartedly agree!! I just found this show and I'm hooked. I need to hear more about this awesome hero's story. All I know is what was just revealed. I need more. But first allow me to humbly thank this man for his service. It Sitka so scary and he perservered and survived and made it home. Wow!! Amazing man, soldier and human!!

    Incredibly brave, humble, smart and articulate person Jason is. I Heard and knew of his story Years and years ago. When people say things like "they fight for your freedom" Jason literally is a real walking talking example of that. Thank you Jason for being among the few at the edge of danger who truly fought for my freedom I promise you I will never take it for granted in return!

    This guy is one of the best story tellers. The other seals stories are great, but this one was pretty captivating. Also you, Jon, being empathetic to the story telling. What a fantastic episode.

      @@shanejupp2175 - he chose to so that other don't have to. At the end of the day, THESE guys risk their life for whatever war America is in - whether the war is justified or not is a different conversation. But the sacrifice exists nonetheless.

    I've done alot of deep study on what happend to this man , and the fact he still looks as good as he does and can live a normal life is amazing and shows that we truly live in the future .THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE and THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SACRIFICE I LOVE YOU BOETHER

      Trust me he's not living a "normal life". He most likely suffers internal cognitive and post trauma from his battles. He served bravely however but he's not free and clear.

    I love Jon as an Actor and a man, but one thing i love above all thay is his ability to just ait there and actually listen. So many presenter and hosts will constantly open their mouths and break the flow of conversation. Another great episode. Keep up the great work!

    I love the story of Jason almost getting kicked out of the seals and then going to Ranger school and deliberately getting kicked out but got back in and becoming honor gratitude. Great story.

      @@jonathanbrown3042 yeah he almost got shitcanned from the teams for being a terrible officer and almost killed himself but then got a crazy chance for redemption by being sent to ranger school, where he quit. The commanding officer of ranger school talked him out of it.

    Thankyou so much Sir! Your a true hero! And a amazing man! My father was a Navy Seal. And in his later years, a instructor at Coronado. For Seals, and UDT (Frog team) ....He was a real hero as well. Many, many awards. Some people are born for this. Complete total alpha male. (Not easy to have a dad like that, but no regrets. I am who I am because of him!)

    You most likely won't read this(and thats okay) I served in the Army infantry for 11 years, then contracting work, then work in 2013 in Jersey helping people during Hurricane Sandy. I don't want to bore you on the list. I also won the spelling bee in 3rd grade. I'm a huge fan and I have nothing but respect for you Jon. I came close to meeting you at a horror con but I had to go help a friend. Hanging out a talking with you seems like a blast man.

    I met Jason once at a convention I was attending having just read his story and he was the guest speaker. He told his story from injury through to the troubles he had experienced with his facial reconstruction. He is the real deal! Thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him briefly after his talk !

    The man said he couldn't feel his left arm and hit us with the "so i started blastin". To take all those hits and to still keep fighting, that's what makes these people different. They like to be humble and say they aren't heros, but they very much are.

    Thank you for your service. I'm not even American but I appreciate every soldier out there.
    I am sad my country turned me down when I signed up cause I needed to take a specific medication frequently(just a pill every morning). I wish I could have been out there serving with these fine men.

    Having been shot myself, through the left arm pit and put through my left shoulder blade.. I commented on a RUclips military video, and had a young guy ask me what my opinion was of joining up and attending the ADFA. (Australian defence force academy) I explained it is a great career, HOWEVER, Hollywood has made getting shot glamorous. In reality, it is far from the truth. It fucking hurts, and it hurts forever. Obviously I survived, but a couple of my brother's did not.
    That hurts for life to. Thankyou Jon for keeping it real.

    I always knew that Jon was a cool guy, but this puts him in another category that very few actors are willing to be in, he’s got heart. I was in the Navy for 4 years, not special forces but still was deployed twice and this interview makes me so happy.
