I love seeing scottish players do well here in Italy, even though it seems like they're here just to prove themselves before going to the EPL.
I was lucky enough to come to Edinburgh to see my beloved Fiorentina play against Hearts, and I loved every second of it: from the welcoming fans, to the nice stadium, to the wonderful city. Everything was perfect and I can't wait to come back!
Ps. Lana's italian is literally flawless, I know she's been here for almost 10 years, but it's really not easy to lose your home country's accent. What a player she was for us, I love that she found herself at home here!

Overlooked by Clarke for a while but worth a shout
Unfortunately he seems to be out of favour at the moment, spending most of his time on Empoli’s bench. Just 2 starts so far this year. It’s a huge bench too. On Saturday against Atalanta Henderson was competing against another 12 outfield subs and got on for the last 20 minutes.

So many other Scottish players simply went down south & then drifted down the leagues & disappeared.
Kudos to them, can’t be easy moving to a new country, leaving friends/family and learning a new language, they’ve all done so well 👏🏻

Really interesting watch. Love how well all 4 players came across. Remember watching a shorter feature on Clelland when she was at Fiorentina. Feels like they won't be the last Scottish players we might see in Italy, and I'm here for it!

Verona is a great city. Amazing food. Very very stylish people, bit of a hit for themselves, but in fairness if I was that swish.....I'd be confident too.
This was brilliant. So wonderful to see four young Scots doing so well and enjoying the life and culture in Italy. Hope we'll see more Scots in Serie A in the future. Forza Scozia indeed.

I don't know whether you've hired new people or given them a bigger budget or whatever, but lately your social media team have been killing it and this is their best work so far. Brilliant documentary, smart move to hire AC Jimbo (don't think we didn't notice the Tunnock's caramel wafer), fantastic to see the men and women get parity of respect, keep doing what you're doing.

They seem very smart, I admit I don't follow women's football very much, but I've to say that I was won over by Lana's perfect Italian and smile (her slight Emilian accent is beautiful); anyway, I think their choice to have an experience like this is a winning one, however it goes, it enriches you as a person.
Not to mention the Serie A can also prove to be very useful from a tactical point of view, it can help to develop a young player (as they actually are).
Ferguson in my opinion will be bought soon by some Premier club, is very good, but if he wants to stay in Italy while longer (at least 3 years I will say), I would love to have him in my team (unfortunately, I'm just a fan, not a manager).

looks like Max Johnston might be next. Hickey’s starred in Italy and I’d like to see Andy Irving in Italy, he suits the Italian game and could easily slot into a lower end Serie A or high end Serie B side after this incredible season he’s having in Austria.

Didn't work well for England because players are shunned for playing abroad but for us it is what is needed
@@ronangray1250 Only a small handful of English footballers of note play abroad. Apart from Chris Smalling and Tomori, what Englishmen deserve a call up?
@dwanyewest Jude Bellingham, Ademola Lookman is English but now plays with Nigeria and having a fantastic season, Reiss Nelson playing abroad has improved his game and will eventually give him a call up sooner than later

they should stay in Italy for a few years, it'll make them better players and individuals. Don't come to the Premiership now, they can learn so much more footballing wise.
I don't know what the future holds, but I surely would HATE TO SEE Ferguson in Rubentino (as the rumors are, T.Motha will go to that ABOMINATION OF A CLUB, although I'd love to see him far more in AC MILAN, and the word is he'll take Ferguson wherever he goes...0, SO,I'd expect him in Napoli,even Inter, or La Viola... anywhere amongst the 7 sisters, just NOT IN RUBENTINO!
Supposedly Liel Abada 🇮🇱 has rejected a contract extension with Celtic and is 90% likely to move on this summer. Let him go. We can sell him, make huge profit and sign Keito Nakamura (a better player) and still have change left over! SIGN KEITO NAKAMURA 🇯🇵🍀

To think that two or three years ago I begged (and I mean BEGGED) Celtic 🍀 to sign Kim Min-jae 🇰🇷 from Beijing Guoan. He ended up going to Fenerbahçe for only £2.5M and now he’s one of the best defenders in world football!
I emailed Celtic and posted constant comments for around a year on every Celtic video begging them to sign Kim Min-jae. Celtic didn’t listen…
I usually don't comment on RUclips videos but this comment really interested me, how did you discover the Kim Min-Jae when he played in a relatively unknown league over here? and how did you know that the player would be a success? Thanks
@@useryt205 Every transfer window I do transfer target posts for who I would like to see Celtic sign, so I do a lot of research into different leagues from all over the world and find the best performing players from these leagues. Not only that but I’m football obsessed so I love watching games from all different leagues when presented with the opportunity. I ended up looking at some of the best talent in Asia and Kim Min-jae instantly stood out. I like to do almost like a checklist of what a player brings to a team and Kim Min-jae ticked every box almost in a way I’ve never seen before, from that moment on I spent MONTHS and months trying to convince Celtic to make a move but they never did. I think we signed Starfelt for £3-4M instead of Kim Min-jae for £2.5M that window. Starfelt is alright but he’s very prone to a lapse in concentration. I personally think I outdid the Celtic scouts big time on that one.
