Sine 3/4 means: Opposite/Hypotenuse = 3/4, so the opposite (AC) = 3 and the hypotenuse AB =4. Then use the Pythagoras theorem: CB^2 + 9 = 16 => CB^2 = 7 and CB is square rt. 7.
Sin-3/4 therefore the hypotenuse is 4. 3^2=9, 4^2 =16. 16-9= 7 Therefore BC =square root of 7. I was a Maths teacher, my twin a surveyor and we solved this sort of thing all the time .
Very good explanation, regardless of what anyone who might think they know the answer...those that don't will be able to make sense of what you might say.
I concretely appreciate these videos. They help break down the math functions I don’t use everyday so that they are understandable. Great work.

I vaguely remember this from 40 years ago. Thanks for the refresher 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks!
Thank you I learned something today😊
AB = 4 while sin B = AC/AB
AC² + BC² = AB² or 3² + BC² = 4² so BC² = 16 - 9 = 7 and BC = V7
Sin is opposite/hypotenuse. This tells us the hyp is 4. Pythagoras tells us 16-9=7. so BC is sqrt (7).
b) sq.root of 7
b)√7
What code do you use to get the V - sign? Thanks in advance.

woo hoo got it sq rt 7 - SOH so hyp = 4. pyth ther - sq rt 7. thanks for the fun.
Definitely feel sorry for you and any negative responses you might get.
None of the sides are missing. See diagram.
