Great video Sir! I just replaced my front sway bar bushing and my Fiat is still making a clunking sound! I’m over my mind in this and suggestions please! What I’ve done modifications are “ Koni front adjustable shocks , Nue speed front and rear bars, lowering springs , chip box .. Thank you for any advice!
Will Hough did you replace the strut mounts when you did the struts? Also, make sure the sway bar end links are 100% tight (they will clunk). Also check the bolts to the front subframe brace bar and make sure those bolts are very tight. Finally, the passenger side engine mount might be broken which will also cause a clunk (under the coolant reservoir).
I couldn’t get the E18s loose. I’ve worked on many parts of this car and never had such a stubborn bolt. My car does have 133k miles but I think I’m going to break out the big boy torch and remove the rotors to use an E18 socket.
It stiffens up the rear end but this only applies to the fiat 500 abarth. However, the ST rear sway bar works for the sport. However, it might not be available anymore
This will correct the car's tendency to understeer, even adding just a bit of oversteer. Because of Chrysler's cost cutting, the Fiat 500 simply isn't stiff enough for the road. Even the much improved Abarth requires a few aftermarket touch-ups. Consider getting upgraded lower subframe brace and side braces while you're at it. It doesn't really matter which ones you get as long as they're made from a solid chunk of metal and not from pressed steel sheets like the OEM braces.
Another great video! The rear bar upgrade really wakes up the handling, I always see it listed as one of the first upgrades to do.
I wish this video was around when I did mine. I remember hanging upside down at one point to pry the bracket open lol.
Great work Bryan. I am really enjoying your videos.
Thanks Greg!
We love watching your videos, Bryan! Thank you for making these!!
Thank you! I appreciate the support!
Great video, Bryan! I wish I’d seen this when I did my first bar. I still come back for a refresh when doing others.

Thank you very much for the video, really informative. Planning to upgrade mine as soon as possible!
I eventually made it, thank so much!
I thought that was going to be more of a pain in the ass, bracing will probably be my next mods
It’s not bad for sure
I would like to see a video on installing the braided brake lines
It’s on the list!

As you said, the bracket is originally locked with blue loctite, why don’t you put new loctite on the bolts?
Thanks
There is still some loctite left over on the bolts, plus I have never needed to on these

I’ve had to do that before. No fun
Well done 🥇🏆🔝
Those 21 mm were so stubborn! I ended up having to use my impact to break ’em loose.
What are some benefits to adding this and would it work on a fiat 500 sport? (Non Abarth)

What improvements am I going to see doing this? Is it worth it if my car is not track ready yet?

That dang 21mm bolt so tight it drags my ass around on the floor and it not even budging. LOL it's tight.
Spray with some PB blaster and let it soak. If that doesn’t work, clean it off and take a torch to it. Heating it up should help it

Yep! Some have to use a torch!
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance My problem was with the E18 bolts. I had to remove the rear brake to properly use an impact wrench against them.
