For Number#13 Beatrice did confirm that you do have stealth kill the first 2 enemies as well from the start of Chapter 6 to trigger Ada's dialogue

Weirdly how the Beetle is in the regular inventory instead of the jewels and other sellable items. If I remember right, it was also in the original RE4. But then again, I haven't played it in a few months.
@@lonewolffang Yeah it definitely is though whenever people talked about it they gave vague instructions so I'm not sure where it is exactly, I'll have to play it again as well
I don't know if anyone's noticed yet but during the whole DLC, the ganados actually use feminine terms when fighting Ada. Super cool detail!
Yes, I loved this detail which is why I translated most of the dialogue before the DLC released 👍
Also, when you are with Luis or Ashley they use the plural forms, "detrás de vosotros, imbéciles" instead of "detrás de ti, imbécil" for example
It's not really a hidden detail and rather just a nod to RE8, but when Ada picks up the Lord of the Waterway, she says "Caught myself a big one." Ethan says the exact same line during Moreau's section. I thought it was a funny callback.
Another thing to note is that the merchant appears to be into Ada since several of his lines are actual compliments. During their first meeting when Ada says that he picked quite a place to set up shop he responds with "and look what it brought me", "it" being Ada. Like you mentioned, he roots for Ada at the end of the game, he says something like "you look like the kind that gets the job done" which is another compliment and he even hides weapons from Leon to specifically sell to Ada, he even admits that he does this
I knew all of these but there is one I like to share. If your health is low to literally empty by the time you try to find Luis in the beginning of the game (where you have to fight 2 chainsaw people), you get saved by Wesker. The cutscene remains the same, but you’ll notice that Wesker actually gives you health to get out of the danger zone, putting you into a borderline fine to caution state (green). Maybe a hint that Wesker doesn’t want you to die doing his mission.
I also thought the glasses wearing ganado was a reference to their habit of stealing items from various characters like Krauser's beret, Leon's jacket, and the cop's round glasses

The glasses belong to one of the police officers.
Not really, the officer glasses had a square shape, the ganado is wearing a round shape
if you wear sunglasses, the lasers from the turrets on the island are green instead of red.
and you can‘t be blinded by your own flash grenades.
i guess it depends on what sunglasses you are wearing, to me it was always red and i used the OG sunglasses

When Ada says “Fly my pretty” it was actually a common dialogue that Alex Wesker says in RE Resistance. Basically it’s a multiplayer game. when you spawn zombies as Alex Wesker she says the exact same thing

I can confirm the “nice and tidy”, but as you pointed out you also have to stealth kill the 2 Ganados prior to the ones that run past you.
Separate Ways is one of best DLC Stories of Resident Evil we ever got since Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape
Noticed this detail while playing a ng+ run as Leon. If you zoom in on a Ganado when their head's about to burst with the infrared scope, you can see the exact second when the Plaga shoots it's way up the throat before bursting the head. Similar lighting as the Regenerators
Sort of related to number 8, if you go to the part of the church roof that would be next to the room in which Ashley is held, you can hear Ashley sobbing and crying inside.

"Déjà Vu" is definitely a reference to RE2 cause it's the same weapon and to save Leon. I cracked up when I heard her say that the first time I played SW.
For #12 you can just shoot where the laser is from the turret and it goes down instantly, did it for my S+ run.

In Separate Ways during chapter 7 when you get to the area before you saddler and go to fight ganados on the construction platform there will be a Ganado wearing a red beret that may indeed be Krauser’s or just a random soldier.
I believe he found it when Ktauser took off everything.
I think it's just a rank symbol for higher ups in Los illuminados
It is from Krauser, if you examine it, it will say it's American
Yeah, I’m sure it’s one of those soldiers who picked it up and wore it after Krauser ditched it.
I check both krauser and the soldier beret at the view model and yeah they're the same beret (edit: red beret soldier & krauser had the same posing at the view model, same goes with leon & the jacket ganado)

You can find this ganado with the glass in the church upstairs near Ashley’s room in the OG RE4 SP.
In Village, you can find that same teddy bear inside one of the homes. This remake has many elements from Village. Both are set in Europe. You'll see the hanging garlics, the owl statue inside the mayor's attic, and Donna's yellow herbs that caused Ethan the hallucinations.
Theres one secret detail u missed : in the 2nd cutscene after ada busts luis outta his cell and straps him right as pesanta makes her debut : she puts a trackin device on Luis when she tabs his shoulder and says "up u go luis !"
Its one of those "blink and u will miss it" type of scene
For #1, you don’t have to wait. He will also say it as you get to a certain point moving forward, it’s just much quieter from being further away. Think if you move fast enough, the 2 are still talking and Luis says “what would I do without you” while he’s moving further away, and in that time if you have the volume up you can hear him say “you smell something burning?” Then Ada says “guess we’ll find out,” which I thought was in response to him asking what he’d do without her.
Her Answer to "What I would do without you" is another, she says "Parasite food"?
I think I heard that once because on one of my follow up play throughs I lagged behind a bit to get a snack. Usually I run thru and I hear her ‘guess we’ll find out,’ so I don’t really remember the correct dialogue to his question. :)
I had a cool experince, While on the call with Luis as he's dying, if you get close enough to where he is, you can hear the knives clashing since Leon will be fighting Krauser and you can also hear Luis Sceam "Leon" and the gun shot in real time instead of just over the phone (Fun fact: in base game Luis doesn't scream Leon before shooting)
Also You can watch Leon fight saddler on a loop
Either that or he was to far away to be heard at the moment.
The attention to detail in separate ways is amamzing resident evil 4 remake is a masterpiece
For the one with mendez appearance in the trailers, its correct, Nick Apostolidas himself confirmed that indeed Seperate Way was worked on along side main game
Makes sense...I can't imagine an RE4 remake w/o Op: Ada or Sep. Ways...though they DID remake RE3 without Epilogue cards or Op: Mad Jackal (the OG Mercenaries mode in RE as a series, as 4th Survivor isn't a Mercs mode) & RE2 w Claire/Leon A/B without any differences in between...
(they got some criticism for RE2 as they did SO good [like adding the diff Tofu's etc], but this was actually a pretty big criticism of "R3-Make" [which would have been SO much better if they had been as true to the OG as RE2 was, even w the shortcuts on exact same A/B playthroughs taken] & I think they were more than aware cutting iconic content like that would only hurt the game/not benefit it)~
I noticed that at the beginning when Ada drops the pasenta she says ‘and stay down’ which i tought i heard also from Leon in RE4 in the early chapters. Im not sure at which moment Leons says this due to speedrunning the game so many times that i i keep quoting some one liners too but this one is pretty generic, but they both said the same thing!😀

Another detail i noticed just now : its story related but whn ada woke up on mendez's bed,wesker was holdin a blood sample/syringe,i think thts how wesker got a hold of a normal plaga,thru adas own infection given she was infected by pesanta

Hey project wasker this is my secret detail I want to talk about so if you wear Leon jacket Leon won't have the knife holster when you equip your knife Leon will pull it out of mid-air
Hi project, there's another secret that we missed too including me. But don't get me wrong because for me, it is wrong topic. So what I gonna point it out is, actually there's some small mistake detail about the comm screen cutscenes during Luis makes first contact to Leon while he with ashley arrive in front of the Ramon's castle ( Leon's campaign) . If you take a closer look at Luis background in comm screen, you can actually see that it some sort of water falling on the above right behind Luis, which means he is waiting Leon outside the Water room exit door / Water Hall area ( After Leon cleared the water hall section and proceed to exit ). But in ada's campaigns after Ada conversation with Luis scene, he makes the call to Leon tell him that where he's going to meet him. As you can see in ada's perspective, you will realize that Luis background ( that I mentioned before ) in Ada's campaign, the comm screen from Leon scene in Leon's campaign are totally different.
Got another secret, in the area with the drill ... in the castle before the knights where you shoot the animal lanterns ... if you listen closely to the music, it is the original island music from the original re4 and certain areas in assignment ada in the original

On secret number 4. Additionally I’ve also got a different cutscene with sadler by finishing off with the knife only
FYI, jacket treasure belongs to Leon, berret belongs to Krasuer, and the glasses belongs to one of the officers that brought Leon via car
Not sure if there's a reason for it, but after Chapter 1, Ada's wound and hole on her sleeve (if wearing the default outfit) will completly dissapear as if it wasn't there before.
For some reason, was it ever clarified that the cut was specifically from the spikes nicking her or the explosion burning her from the splash of those pustules?
@@acgearsandarms1343 right? Like, it sure wasn't like when Jill got infected, where she took off that Nemesis spike. Seems like Ada looks at the wound and then starts fighting.

Here’s one, the beginning of the final section before grabbing the red rocket launcher, you can snipe the 3 ganados first so when you get closer the rocket launcher ganado wont hit you no more
If you go back on the church roof you can hear Ashley crying

#13 you have to kill all 5, the first 2 at the beginning and then the 3 rushing, thats how i got the dialog.
4:38 there are also two plaga aranas along with Brute in that area, hence, more than 1 item on the floor
For the turrets with the crossbow? You can take them out with only 2 or 3 damage upgrades. Max upgrade not required
In chapter 4, you can pause it and take that dump you've been holding in since chapter 1. It works, trust me I did it.
For number 2: Maybe it only works if the real Pesanta is in the picture? Like if the game compares the real to the fake one the fake ones will spoof, but if it compares to fake it doesn't see a difference and that's why it didn't work?
Just a guess though, no idea if it does or even could work like that.

The glasses wearing villager was 1st introduced in the PS2 port. My friend and I was laughing so hard when we were trying to find differences by playing them both at at the same to to find differences. This is a cheap way to introduce enemy variations without trying.
I knew about some of the hidden treasures. Not the beetle, but the golden egg I found myself. Also the gold bar from the machine gun enemy. I missed a subquest treasure beetle and encountered him when I went to that area again. Also that ore treasure that according to you bears resemblance to RE8's weird statues is also in the main game in the same location with Leon.
i wouldn't consider 1:00 or leon fighting a secret.
the beetle is no different than any other item in the game. you rush and miss it or you take your time and find it.
and everyone should know leon is fighting between main game events and the cutscenes showing us that is what he is currently doing.
it should be impossible to miss.

Has anyone else noticed the RE5 easter egg in the ending cutscene with Ada/Wesker? You can see Excella Gionne and the underground garden where the progenitor virus was extracted from; possible hint at an RE5 remake

On #12, you just need to catch the explosive barrel in the blast to destroy the gun, even if you haven't upgraded the damage.

With the bottles, it might link the Salazaar family to possibly knowing the Dimetrescu family given Salazaar's family has a long history. I say possibly because Capcom hasn't made it canon or connected them. And also the glasses might be a homage to themovie Leon The Professional.
Not a hidden detail but a question. What do the ganados do with Ashley's jacket and scarf after she gets kidnapped in the castle? As far as I know we never run into any enemies wearing them.

7:21 this can also be doable without upgrading the crossbow just aim abit higher just above the turrent window and it will do just fine might take few retries tho, speedrunners often does the this for easier area encounter. (the trick is you let gravity do the work 😅)
Yeah, that's why I said in the video its a lot harder if you don't upgrade it I never stated it wasn't possible just a lot harder.
Don't know if this is an Easter egg or not. If you read the document when picking up the red Rocket Launcher. It's said that it was own by Krauser to betrayed Sadler when everything goes to his plans.

You clearly didn't understand what I stated in the video. I never said Ada didn't say the line. The only thing I stated in the video was the line "Fly my pretty" that Ada states is a commonly misquoted line from the movie Wizard of Oz. Much in the same way that lots of people misquote the famous Star Wars line "Luke I am you're father" when in reality its "No, I am you're father" while in this particular case the misquoted line is "Fly my pretty" which again is a misquote of the actual line that's "Fly, Fly, Flyyy".

That's not true. Some of his lines are specific to Ada.
I've heard him say something like "Hello stranger! I've reserved some items just for you, my other customer doesn't know about them"
Very untrue, while his main game lines are still in separate ways the merchant was given several exclusive lines for the dlc

@@P1T4Bot mainly the same, yes, like 5 or 6 lines are different, but depending on the language your game is all of the lines are changed to be gender specific to Ada

Hello hello! Nice video, thank you for including my comment 🫶🏻 I’m so sorry it didn’t trigger for you! Every time I did it I stealth killed the first two enemies of the chapter as well and as you said that probably counts as well! I’m gonna try again in a second 😊
I just tried again and yeah I can confirm you need to stealth kill the first two guys as well. The first time I killed the first two enemies with the Chicago Sweeper, the last three stealthily and she said nothing. The second time I killed everyone stealthily and she said the line. I’m sorry for not having done some more testing before commenting on the previous video, in my runs I always stealth killed the first two enemies of this chapter so I never gave it too much thought! Hopefully it was still useful and you can try again another time ❤️ have an amazing day!
