The graphics are photo realistic but the physics and controls have a long way to go in these games.
It's so realistic that at the very beginning a guy falls off his bike and you ride right through him as he's falling off.

It is simply amazing, absolutely insane that we have reached this level of realism in video/computer games. The realism of this is off the charts, the wet tarmac on the road looks 100% like its actual footage.

the liquid moving in the break fluid thingy is a nice touch
Even the fluid in the brake fluid reservoir has physics. Now that's attention to detail
idk if it requires huge attention to detail when it's something that's right in your face when playing in first person, would look weird if the fluid didn't move
honestly if the animations had a bit more work done on them regarding physics, this game would look genuinely like GoPro footage
Finally! Finally, after 20+ years, we start to reach the point where games are really as good looking as life itself,

I don't know what game this is but ride 4 also looked like this and after doing some research I found out that it only looks like this during a replay....😢....smh I was stoked too lol I was like you when I saw the realistic graphics and then I was told it was a replay and the actual game play looked nothing like this....✌🏽

This is the replay mode after the race has been run. Whilst racing it looks good but not this good.

I've seen clips from this game that are indeed difficult to distinguish from real life, but this is certainly not one of them. The player's bike handling alone in the first 25 seconds is comical.
I believe it costs way to much to make multiple crashing animations.
On a wet road like that I'd expect to see some spray being kicked up
Graphically it is extremely realistic. What distinguishes it from reality is the speed giving the impression of being on a Superbike and not a Huskvarna Supermoto. In terms of speed, the Tourist Trophy game conveys even more reality to me. But still very nice looking.

Tourist Trophy, even a 2006 and PS2 game, could beat it easily!!!
Graphics is 40% of the games. Physics, Animations (clutching, shift pedal, handlebar, countersteering, slowspeed), Sounds (engine, tires, braking, etc), challenges and storyteling is much important than "more real than reality"!
@@PapJoga It's a personal opinion, but I fully agree with your position, mainly because I ride a motorcycle in real life to use it as a "feeling" parameter. It gives me the impression of "Arcade" most motorcycle games except Tourist Trophy.

Graphically it's beautiful (perhaps the biggest so far), but in physics, only those who don't ride a motorcycle believe that this speed is real. It's going faster than a SBK.

I still remember playing NFS 2, Ridge Racer, Colin Mcrae Rally when I was in high school. Who knew in my thirties computer graphics would be like this ! mad !

this is the gameplay on PC, step up your hardware and enlighten your experience....
The replay and real gameplay are the same thing in first person view. There's no additional sharpening of the image or anything. This game is sick.

I think there is a slight camera adjustment for the replay

There should be an updated handlebar controller made for these games. Counter steering would give you a great feel. Amazing!
Clutch, front and rear brakes. Or just go ride an actual motorcycle.
The crashing wobble is a little dizzying and the sky flickering different colors was off but pretty insane
To expensive to make multiple animated crashes. The speed wobbles are accurate though but not crashing into the back tire of someone else.

Why all the comments concerning the oil in the brake reservoir? It’s actually moving opposite of what it really does in a turn. It doesn’t stay level with the horizon in a turn, it moves to the outside because of centrifugal force. Realistic? Not quite.

What’s the craic with some of these PS5 games looking so good on RUclips? Mine when playing don’t look as half as good. Is it upscaled when it’s being captured and recorded then or is it my tv or settings? Some of my games have jaggies and the colours washed out 😢
Life itself you know the graphics that you look at everyday when you wake up. Game developers will never be able to re create or place the infinite possibilities of life in a video game.

interesting! but your game engine volume was a bit too much!, I had to mute it after a while. I have this for my Steam PC. If you watch this for a while you can see weird fps hits, kind of looks like an invisible wind hitting you.
other bikers have no Sound, or they are muted e-bikes.
also rain effects after the rear wheel is missing, feels so empty for the full realistic view

When I was a kid road rash was on sega mega drive go try that then say this is terrible. Today’s games look brilliant you really appreciate them when you remember the late 80,90,00s games. Today’s kids don’t realise how good they have it.
