I used to place this course with my grandpa like 10 years ago. Hard course, super fun! My Gpa had a 25 foot birdie putt and it rolled all the way down to the hole and at the last moment i blocked it from rolling in with my putter. He did not love it as much as myself.

At the 19th I see behind you One Big Putting Green, maybe only beaten by St. Andrews and Carnoustie. And there are 7 Double Greens at St. Andrews so The Home of Golf gets a 10; Goat Hill Park gets a 5 for Double Greens whereas 99.99% of US Courses get a 0 for Double Greens because they have 0. I would visit Goat Hill Park just for The Hot Dog. This might be your All Time Signature Review, great job by you and Coach Mike.

Great video! I wouldn't like it if I get paired up with a serious golfer who is always telling me what I did wrong. The last thing I want to hear immediately after I hit a bad shot is " you didn't keep your head down" or "you picked the wrong club".

You know, you could pitch this to the golf channel or do your own thing on Ypu Tube kind of like Guy Fiery diners drive in and dives or better IMO like Doug DeMuro rates cars. You create a scorecard for elements like scenic views, greens, bunkers, food, drinks, “coolness”, value, etc, meet with the super, get their take on their course, a little history, and then play the course and give your scores. Has to be courses anyone can get on. Travel America golfing. Gotta be the shiz.

That was a cool course what was not cool was the guy on the course with the dog loved the tag team review on the cart and the hot dog what a review thank God you did not put ketchup on it that would not be cool
That course used to be trash you could get on the course on the weekend for 25 bucks in the morning and was going to be shut down but they got votes to keep it open and they invested money into it and made it what it is today I always loved that course

I just played there on Tuesday, love that golf course and the vibe, Linksoul gear is awesome and the staff was amazing. Next time I'm in Encinitas I will play there a few times for sure

Chicago style??? I grew up on Chicago style hotdogs and that was not a Chicago style dog...toasted bun???? The key to a good hotdog is a steamed bun, not toasted....looked very dry to me.
