A Weekday Afternoon of Chiltern services at Saunderton, heading around Central England, United Kingdom. Trains include:

🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

I came here for the 68's and I was not disappointed. In my opinion, the best sounding locos in service. 👍👍

Dam, those headlights are very bright on 68008. You got some unusual workings with the class 165 Thames Turbo's working coupled up with the class 168 Clubmans. Mega film and trainspotting session :-)

Saunderton railway station is a railway station on the A4010 road between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located near the villages of Bledlow Ridge and Bradenham and lies on the Chiltern Main Line between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough stations.
Confusingly, the nucleus of the village of Saunderton, after which the station is named, is about 2.5 miles north of the station and is in fact much closer to the nearby Princes Risborough station. The hamlet immediately around the station is also known locally as Saunderton and is indicated as such on nearby road signs, but it is not named on maps.

Fantastic video
I have to say it but i just love the thrash of a Class 68. That and that was rare seeing a Class 165 Turbo coupled up to a Class 168 Clubman. Thank goodness they have the same type of coupler though.

If 1T54's forming from London Marylebone to Oxford and 1Y76's forming from Oxford to London Marylebone, why did they form the 'Silver' service instead of forming the normal service of using the Class 165s or the Class 168s?
1T54 was a normal Silver Set diagram. I’m not sure why since I don’t think it’s very heavily used.

Hmm...They still think a small number of coaches for a long journey is a good idea...
It's the one reason why I've always held them off. I'm worried that I may travel with them and ultimately become a packed sardine.
