Just saw Ramin live in Funny Girl and WOW!! What a show, what a performance! At intermission the group of people next to me immediately started talking about how amazing and charming Ramin is as Nicky Arnstein, and Temporary Arrangement truly was a showstopper. The applause went on for a LONG time. I’m a massive fan of Ramin and his work, but clearly it wasn’t just my bias saying he was amazing in this show because everyone else loved him too. And Beanie, Jane Lynch, and Jared Grimes were also all incredible! Seriously a fabulous show! Hope I get the chance to see it again while Ramin is still in it.
I just saw Funny Girl. I fell in love with him. So sexy Ahhh so wonderful especially difficult playing opposite Beanie. He looks like he adores her. I would go see him in whatever he does. I would like to see another Fanny Brice honestly. I felt the rewrite weighed the play down. The whole baby thing was weird. This man is so humble. Now realizing the other roles he’s done is so impressive.
I wonder if they will have a recording of this funny girl revival with Rami n + LM? He is very impressive..and what a voice, I'd love to have a recording, as long as beanie is not on it.
I'm unable to see this revival, nor have I read if this happened. I'm curious if Nicky's original songs have been restored, those Streisand demanded be cut to give him less stage time...and give her more.
Often seems more like a PR pitch for the show rather than an interview, esp. looking back from now, June 2022, post-Tonys and the announcement of Beanie Feldman's early exit from the show.
I was so disappointed the day we went. We got a text that morning that Lea would be out. No biggie, we were going for Ramin. Got in our seats, opened the Playbill and a small slip fell out... Ramin was going to be out too. What a waste. Sigh. We paid a lot of money for orchestra seats. We wont be able to afford that again.😢
Candle sticks in the window a touching momento from Ramin’s incredible run as JVJ in Les Mis?
What a lovely interview.

I've seen videos of Ramin's performance. His performance really brought the character to life.
I'm looking forward to seeing the show next month!!

I always feel like he has done so much more, but that his resume includes Phantom and Jean Valjean, I think that speaks for his talent.
What whole baby thing?
@@goatpie882 they write Nick ‘s part like he is a stay home dad lol
@@JnTmarie Heh?!??!??! So he doesn't have a bunch of failed business ventures? I want to see this show so bad...
Sending caring thoughts your way. Hope you're feeling like yourself again soon.

I'd like to know when Ramin is coming back to Scotland to see his "Glasgow Mama"?

I knew New York apartments are ridiculously small (especially as he's living very close to the theatre) - but is he doing this from his bathroom???
Ann he is in his theatre dressing room!
@@lesleywells5274 Thank you - that makes more sense.
It's looking like kitchen.🍳🍶
