No. Why? Because of the ownership conditions. Google: "I industriklenodens innersta maktrum" That will bring you to a news article from one of Swedens most reputable news papers - Svenska Dagbladet. In short: When Geely bought Volvo Cars (who owns Polestar) back in ~2009 - guess who shelled out more than 85% of the cash? You guessed it! The Chinese Military Dictatorship... Surreal? Yes. Very...

I didn't know this video would be some of the best motoring content I've seen this year. The cinematography was superb and the drone shots with the car sliding made me feel like I was watching Top Gear back when it was the best motoring content you could ask for. It was informative, entertaining and a pleasure to watch. Impressed with Joakim's dedication to reducing suspension bushing noise as well, such commitment! Thank you Fully Charged Show for great content.

As a Canadian fan of the channel, this kind of testing is what I care about. When you are in that snow storm heading home some place plow and salt truck won't get too for a couple hours you want your car to handle on ice. (without the studs) We take new rural drivers out to ice covered parking lots to get the "feel" of ice. Perhaps we can we borrow that Polestar this year?

Well, I'm sold. My one concern with EVs was cold weather performance as my friends with Teslas have had horrible experiences with them in the cold. I actually saw this thing in the wild about a month ago and couldn't figure out what it was called. I just gave up looking for and wrote it off as a European import. That was untill I was forced to look at EVs as I drive long distances for my company and happened to see it. I was sold when I saw it; it has vibes straight out of the 80s and is very reminiscent of my old 240DL. Now I'm definitely sold. That thing looks like a blast!

Cool, so its all good the on i35 freeway through Minneapolis when it's 0F outside (-18C), snowed last night and the roads are slick and to varying extents the other drivers have forgot how to drive in that weather. I'm also dreaming of taking it for a spin around a frozen Lake of the Isles or cedar lake.
Alright, I probably won't do that (not least because even a low end Polestar 2 is a dream right now), but testing in those low temps are not just for middle of nowhere type stuff. There's plenty of frigid folks in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Canadian cities like Winnipeg too. And seriously, there's probably a fair few who would love to take one of these around some if the 10,000+ very frozen lakes we get. Looks like a lot of fun.

Great to see Jack back racing a Polestar 2 in the snow but strangely Robert was in sunny Spain 🤔
