    There's a preference you can set to leave the sketch visible. You can also set perspective view which is much more pleasing to the eye.

    It took me a couple months to realize that Fusion turns off the sketch after extruding. Meanwhile, I’m doing strange workarounds that I now have to reprogram my brain from doing. That should be a settings toggle!

      This is a setting you can change. Click on on your profile at the top right corner and select "Preferences". If you click on "Design", there is a checkbox labeled "Auto hid sketch on feature creation".
