    Exactly what I needed. Why do they make those things so obscure? You gave it to me in 10 seconds.

    Todd was the 3rdsite I looked at and he was the best at explaining in detail what to do, especially when opening the remote was resistant. Thank you so much Todd.!

    Saw another video first and followed what he said and I did kind of mess up the places to open it with the metal visor clip. ☹️ When I opened it the battery was loose as well. It was underneath the circuit board. I used the same battery and I could not clip it in but sat it in there as best as I could and sealed it all. I tested and it worked perfectly. Any more openings will be done with a plastic tool. Thank you so much for a perfect video.

    It's tough to get open but the video helped. You just don't want to break the case. LiftMaster could have made this easier. Thanks.

    Thank you for this because I always wondered what you’re supposed to with these kind of devices as they lose power.

    Thank you. I did not have a plastic tool so I used my screw driver to get stated and fingernails to get the rest off.

    Does it need programming after battery change? Mine didn’t work with brand new battery

    Why do they make such pieces of junk and make them about impossible to open without damaging. It's ridiculous.
    Thank you for your video, it confirmed what I thought but explaining why I had to wonder if that was right to begin with as so hard to open is something this piece of crap company could improve upon. I have a TV remote that is just about as dumb for what it takes to open.

    Great video T!
    So, what if you have a Craftsman keypad...but a Liftmaster garage door opener?
    Can you still program the keypad to the garage door opener?

    When I install new battery the light on circuit board keeps flashing … what does this mean ? Also should the battery be flat ? It’s not laying flat

    • @ToddsGarage
      @ToddsGarage  2 года назад

      Hi Valerie, I am not sure what the flashing means on the circuit board, sorry. The battery should be laying in there pretty flat, just make sure to install with the positive and negative on the correct sides. Good luck and hope you get the issue resolved.
